My kids and I decided to try this place out for the first time tonight. It was right before 6 when we arrived. Not much of a wait to have our order taken. The cashier was very friendly and helpful, answered our questions and was patient with our indecisiveness. Decided on salmon, teriyaki and orange chicken, all 3 bowls with noodles. By the time we sat down (had all clean tables and drink station that I saw) after getting our drinks, the customers had filled the lobby. I realized then, there was lots of food delivery orders coming out of that kitchen. We observed people until our dinner was brought to our table- the interactions, mannerisms, patience, multitasking and composure. The cashier was very busy taking and bagging up orders, and serving customers. I was happy to see a gentleman from the kitchen come to her aid before it became too overwhelming. The delivery drivers were patient, alert and prompt on grabbing the orders as soon as they came up. Carry out orders were just the same. Only customers who vocalized their impatience on food orders were for dine in. And to that, I’d like to remind them, this restaurant is not fast food, it’s made to order. Coming at a prime dinner time near a busy intersection of SF, you can expect a wait, especially with so many people ordering online these days. Overall, I was pleased with the way people treated each other during the hour we spent there, as it was all part of our first dining experience there. The teriyaki salmon with noodles and all veggies was delicious. My kids preferred the orange chicken over teriyaki and with less veggies. The gentleman from the kitchen came to check in to make sure we liked what we ordered. I also let the cashier know it was really good and thanked her again before we left. Between the food and customer service, we will definitely be...
Read moreAs a reviewer and a experienced cook with my husband we went in to get late lunch after work and to go picknic at dog park before letting your dog play and as I started to eat my chicken in my big bowl tasted a bit fishy which usually as cooks me and my partner know they are not tempting there food right or storing correctly so make sure you taste the food and if ever you question it return it or throw it out because yes like me you can get sick 🤢 , however manager didn't like it that my husband knew his stuff on food and being a previous serta safe food handler manager did refund your money back . Now normally I have never had issues with this place but this time kinda killed my wanting to go back due to the fishy chicken , charging extra for what you want in your 13.99 big bowl that clearly states you build it yourself anyway so ? Is why charge extra for everything you want separately. Also husband didn't get what he wanted so kind of messed up his order as well. Hate having to demote this place down since your first experience was great but since about 6 months after opening they seem to slowly be declining sad but I feel that's kind of how new businesses do...
Read moreI guess I went in to eat at peak hours, because the place was jam packed. The tables are WAY too close together. If you need to sit at a table on the wall, you've got maybe 2 feet of clearance between the tables you'll have to navigate through to get there. If you like the idea of personal space, this is not the place for you. As well, the building was FREEZING!!! It felt like a walk-in cooler at a grocery store. I love food. I absolutely love food and I'll eat anywhere in any conditions if the food is good. This food is not good. It's ok. Just ok. Service was complete garbage. They call out names when food is ready but don't know how to speak up. As well, when giving my order, they seemed clueless and uninterested. We originally got our order to stay but decided to go because the place is just stressful as all heck. When one lady called my name, I went to go take my food from her but when I got to her she said I can't because she needs the tray so she would have to bring it to the table. Screw you, random lady. Give me my food when I walk to...
