I ordered my food through the Popeyes app for delivery (Popeyes goes through DoorDash) and I never received my order because my dasher kept my order. I was watching the time of my dashers arrive time at the store and to my place. He made it within the time but when he got to my apartment he called me, I wasn’t home and told him to leave it at the security door when I first placed my order, instead he called my phone 2 times while I was busy out and about. When I got home I saw my food wasn’t there so I called him, he told me someone stole my order at the store but he was in our apartment parking lot finishing someone else’s order. I was Furious for not receiving my $25 order. All the sudden the time frame when he would’ve finished whenever, I got a message, I check my phone and it’s the dashers number saying and showing he dropped off my order, I recognized the outter security door on the other side of the building outside of the parking lot on the street. I went to check the door and my food wasn’t there at all. The dasher guy lied to me and ended up stealing my order for not answering his 2 calls when I wasn’t home and told him to leave it at the inside parking lot security door. I requested my money back multiple times from Popeyes since I did my order on the Popeyes app and had MY money on MY Popeyes gift card. They never gave me my money back or made a attempt for a agent to contact me within 24-48 hours, instead it’s been a week.
The workers are never polite either, last time I went to Popeyes there was a lead shift or manager at the cash register, he took my order while on the phone talking to a non coworker while I was trying to explain the multiple meals I wanted for me and my fiancé. The guy could’ve simply had someone else assist me. While ordering food too I asked him a question he knew a estimate about and he told me “i don’t know” and continued to talk to the person on the phone, while also trying to tell him my order he couldn’t get it right because he was busy talking on the phone but he was higher up position then the crew people.
My mom also got Popeyes one day and they kept her change that she was suppose to get back but didn’t notice until she got home and didn’t want to waste her gas. (The change they owe my mom is $5)
My fiancée, his mom also went to Popeyes and they did the same thing, DIDN'T GIVE HER...
Read moreThe night I visited, a worker came out of the bathroom, straightened his hat and fiddled with his mask, and then sanitized his hands. His mask was under his nose, and he was pulling orders together, laughing and talking the whole time. The young man at the register didn't know how to handle my app order, so I believe he was new. I also changed one of my sides. He repeated it back to me, but he didn't change it on the receipt. The cook wasn't wearing a mask at all, and neither was the manager.
After I arrived home, I realized we were missing a breast from our 14 pieces of chicken. This happened before, but my husband had said not to worry about it. I called and spoke to whom I believe was the new employee who asked me to come back with the receipt and get the breast. I told him I was home for the night and asked if I couldn't pick it up the next day. He took my name and probably misspelled it the same way he had on the receipt even though I had spelled it for him.
I returned the next day to see the young man from the cashier in the kitchen area wearing his mask down on his chin while he was prepping food. A young woman took a order and finally spoke to me saying she'd be right with me. Instead, she began pulling together several orders. I noticed the maskless manager working drive-through and started to ask for him or just leave. Finally, drive-through and counter were caught up, and the young woman asked how she could help me. I explained what happened; how this was the second time I had received a short order and can't continue to just overlook missing pieces as my husband had said to do before; and, about the phone call. I showed her the receipt. She asked whom I spoke to on the phone. I told her I was pretty sure it was the young man pulling food. She asked if there were anything else she could do for me, to which I replied, "No, not unless they're going to give me the piece I was shorted before." She turned, boxed chicken, bagged it, and said she was sorry. I got home with what I believed was one breast. Sure enough...
Read moreIf I could put a negative number I would. My husband and I went to eat here today for lunch, we dined in. We sat in a booth by the north widows so as far away from the front counter as you can get. Our entire lunch we listened to an older guy in the back yelling and cussing at the staff. Of course this caused some of the staff to yell and cuss back at him. You could tell how uncomfortable this made some of the other staff. At one point someone working the front counter asked about putting some chicken down. Another guy in the back came and started yelling at her and talked down to her like she was incapable of doing her job. This hostile work environment is unacceptable, not only for the employees but also for the customers that come in to eat(at one point a dad came in with his 3 young kids and had to ask them to stop cussing). I don’t know who the manager was out of this group, if it was the older guy with grey hair and beard or someone else but they need to be educated on how to run a crew of employees. How about you go help the guy in the back who was working back there by himself if he wasn’t getting things done fast enough instead of berate him in front of everyone. I honestly can’t believe the guy getting yelled at didn’t walk out. Do better, nobody has a right to talk to someone the way a couple of these guys were talking to staff, I don’t care what...
