There is a sign on the door that says "Walk-ins Welcome". So my husband and I walk into the shop hoping to get tatted and we walk in and all of the artists see us walking in and they don't say a single word to us. So we figure they are busy at the moment and we sit in their waiting room figuring they would talk to us when they have a second. Almost 2 hours pass and not a single person acknowledges that we are there, still no words have been said to us. Artists walked by us a few times even. I get it if they didn't have time for walk-ins, but they could have said something like "hey sorry I don't think we will have for you guys". We have been tattooed here before, but it made us feel like they didn't care and they honestly wasted our time. We ended up leaving after 2 hours. If they can communicate with their customers, their business would be better. If you don't have time, please let your...
Read moreI rarely give bad reviews, but the guy on the phone was awful. Told me he wouldn't do a tattoo on my hand unless I have a full sleeve because "there's still a stigma with hand tattoos and it might effect your ability to get a job." He said most artists wouldn't do it, and hands have an extra charge above the shop minimum. I have heard from people who have gotten work done there that he's the only one that is tough to deal with. From the sound of it, he wasn't a tattoo artist himself. I feel bad posting this because of all the other great artists that are there, but this is not the first time I've heard things about this guy, and now I've experienced it myself. I hope they get a clue and either talk to this guy or get him out of there.
Edit in response to owner: It took you two years to even notice this. I had forgotten you were even a company. Vishnu Bunny took great care of me....
Read moreSo, I know a lot of folks give five stars because they got a good tattoo, which is great. I have spent a ton of time in tattoo shops, and can tell you these guys deserve it. From the moment you walk in, you can tell that every artist seems to enjoy working there, and it is all about the art of tattooing. Nothing says "good shop" like artists that are happy to be there. World class tattoos in Sioux Falls? You bet. Tim Jewell is a master of the America Traditional style, and has been rocking out pretty much a whole torso piece for me. I'll update this review with pics after a few more sessions. I really can't recommend this shop enough. If you want great art, cool tattooers, and an awesome atmosphere, look no further. There are artists specializing in multiple styles, and you won't be...
