The Lodge Bar and Grill at Jacobson Plaza — Restaurant in Sioux Falls Township

Tried this new restaurant this weekend because their menu looked good and their drinks seemed fun and summery! Unfortunately, they were out of the cotton candy drink as it was so popular. I ended up having the sangria, which was delicious. I also got the cheese curd appetizer and Sconnie burger with fries. I saw other reviews were pretty critical of the food, especially the fries, but all of the food was absolutely delicious! I thought the cheese curds batter was great and the fries were very crispy and served hot! The burger was a smash burger and with the toppings stayed together well and had great flavor. I take away stars due to the wait time it takes to place order(s). There is only one place to order and even with a line of only 2-3 people, it took up to 15 minutes each time I went up to order a drink/food. It would be super helpful if the staff members could have one of those handhelds to put orders in quick for people who have an open tab or card to pay at...

We ordered a Sconnie burger, chislic, and the kids pizza and they came out timely and tasted good. The staff was very polite and friendly but not a ton of effort put into actual service. It almost feels like a step above a fast food restaurant where after you pay for your food and go sit down, you're on your own. I can see they are after an affordable place for families to come sit and enjoy a meal but they lost me at being card only. I'd love to see food served on tin trays or something vs the paper things you get at a ball field but to each their own. Overall our experience was good but it's not something that I'm dying...

The atmosphere and service were excellent. The food missed the mark. I ordered the Sconnie burger which was good until I hit a quarter of the burger that had so much seasoning all I could taste was a salty flavor. My wife had the Milt’s classic and she said the sauce had a sweet flavor to it and she didn’t even eat half her burger. The kids both had chicken strips and they were over cooked along with all our fries and cheeseballs. The cheese balls were one big clump because the cheese melted out. The ranch had decent flavor but was way too runny. If the food was cooked properly I feel it would be a great price for...
