Nate and Taco alone make the Top Hat my favorite bar. They learned my name so fast and can even name all of my favorite drinks (and can most of the time guess which one I want at the time) It's a nice feeling when you're feeling down.. What a place. Only having heard legends of a true "Midwest Bar", I did not know what I was getting into. Upon arrival, you are overwhelmed with a bunch of junk and signs on the walls and ceilings, and the tiny space had a mixed crowd of hip college kids, old-timers obviously glued to the same stool for years and no nonsense bartenders and staff that would smack you in the back of the head for deigning to review their bar on Google Maps.
