Well my dream has come true the last time I have visited the state theatre was when they were starting the close down the balcony because things were getting really bad, I was just a kid at that time and now they have remodelled it, upgraded the seats to recliners as you can see in the pictures and the price is not as bad as I thought it would be the prices for the food Is really a lot better than what I thought it was going to be. And if you want to step back into a nostalgic Theatre then this is a must see it is perfect they've done really really well Here the seats are comfortable I think you would enjoy it. Beautifully renovated historic theater with the best seats in town! It’s always a treat seeing a movie here. The staff is always friendly. The snack bar has an excellent selection including alcohol. Bathrooms are always immaculate and right outside the theater doors so if you need to run to the bathroom in the middle of the movie, it’s quick. Movies starts promptly which is appreciated but the snack line can get backed up and there’s been a couple times we have missed the beginning of the movie. Wise to arrive early if it’s a full theater. They’ve gotten multiple movies that century just never got. I’m thankful to the state theater for giving us the opportunity to see so many extraordinary films on the big screen that we wouldn’t have otherwise...

The best theater experience I’ve ever had. First, this is an absolutely beautifully restored historic theater that is really impressive to be in. Second all the food options are fantastic AND substantially cheaper than other theaters. The popcorn is delicious. The beverage selection great (includes alcoholic drinks). Thirdly the viewing experience is first rate with comfortable recliners that have trays. Even the sound quality and volume are always perfect.
