le Bar at Famille — Restaurant in Sisters

We showed up at 6:30pm yesterday, a group of 6 local women. The lights and Open sign were still on. We were turned away at the door by the young woman working the bar, who told us she decided to close early because there weren’t enough people and she had “already started the dishwasher.” For a new business just starting out this is poor customer service, especially if trying to earn the support of your local community. Before a hike or some other jaunt, we like to get a quick breakfast on the go and decided to try Le Bar. We were very pleasantly surprised. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious and the brisket breakfast burritos were fantastic and super filling. I also tried the Honey Lavender latte which was phenomenal! Good to have a new dining experience in Sisters. The cachaça cocktail, “poke stack” appetizer, mushroom risotto, and crème brûlée were delicious and portions were generous.
