Luckey's Woodsman — Restaurant in Sisters

Super disappointed. We were excited to come in and have dinner outside after a hike and liked their outdoor space and that they use local ingredients. The female at the counter was nice. Ordered one of their burgers and fries and my sister got the lumberjack. She said they would text us when the order was ready, so I gave them my number, which was verified, and sat outside to wait for food. It took 45+ minutes for them to remember that our food was ordered. We were confused. We only went in to inquire because people who had ordered well after us were receiving their food through the pass through window. I received no text or any sort of shout through the window that our food was ready. When they “found” our order, they gave us food that had sat in the boxes for long enough to get maximum sogginess. Like gross soggy. Homedude cooking clearly didn’t care, nor did he check the food. He sort of just randomly found our lost food and threw it into a to-go box. He didn’t say a word to me or acknowledge his mistake. What we received was soggy gross, greasy, tasteless food. The fries were too seasoned, but with no salt, so they were somehow dried out and flavorless. We totally understand that stuff happens, but it was not busy, they tried to pass off their poorly prepared food they forgot about and then insulted us by giving us this gross mess. I gave them a 20% tip, which brought the total to $54. So it feels even further insulting. This is the reason why I am writing a review, and the reason I will not return. Good food only goes so far if someone can’t prepare it properly. Ingredient were top notch, but the cooking, service and follow-through was bad....

I’ve walked past this place maybe a dozen times, but today we decided to stop in and I AM SO GLAD we did!

My husband and I are huge breakfast burrito people and to my surprise they had them. My husband had the Scout burrito and the potatoes in it so delicious. I got the It’s All Gravy breakfast burrito because biscuits and gravy in a burrito is a genius idea! We were both so impressed. Our 5 year old daughter is quite the cheeseburger queen so of course she needed one, she stated with eyes wide open “this is the best burger EVER!” Reading the stuff on the board I was stoked to see Jackson partners with local venders like Well Rooted in Tumalo. Well Rooted is out favorite u-pick farm and place to buy meat!

Jackson is the owner and took our order and was so perisonalble and kind! Just a really down to earth guy. You can tell he put his whole heart into this restaurant.

I went back because I saw he had key lime pie for dessert which is my husband’s favorite and also my parents. So I asked if I could buy a whole pie without hesitation he said of course. I brought it home and me not loving key lime pie FELL in LOVE. Jackson said this was his grandmas recipe and it’s his favorite pie considering he also doesn’t love key lime. My entire family ate half a pie without many words in between bites because it was THAT GOOD.

We are so excited to find a new little spot for lunch/dinner.

I recently tried this place with friends who were visiting from out of town and to sum things up - the food was extremely salty, expensive, and the service was so-so.

Burgers come with no side, fries are an extra $4-$5, and you get one dipping sauce. Everything is so salty it’s inedible.

My phone number was put into the system wrong so I never got a confirmation text about my order or a pick-up notification. That’s not the biggest issue. When I actually checked on my food the man at the pick-up window had my order and told me “it has been sitting a while, so if it’s cold bring it back and we will make a new one.” How long is a while? Since you are implying that it’s mostly likely cold why wouldn’t you just remake it? It was cold by the way...

My friends had issues with their order too, but we will just avoid this place in the future. For the price and quality, you can get a better experience elsewhere. Pub food is...
