Rootbound — Restaurant in Sisters

This place is beyond Wow! I live in the Portland area & have yet to find a place that is remotely close to this plant based food cart. This is a rare gem of a find! If you live by a Whole Foods Plant Based lifestyle and or if you are Vegan this is the place for you my friend. I had the Vagabond Bowl with an added side of grilled tofu & also the Ultralife Blend. It has a coconut based curry sauce. If you like curry this bowl is Amazing & you will surely not be disappointed. My sweetie had the Hearts Align salad with an addon of tofu & Ultralife Blend as well. Needless to say it was very delicious as well. I was magically surprised when I went to this food truck at the beautiful Barn. Food court. The farmers salad was literally the best salad I’ve had in years. Get the citrus dressing. I cannot say enough about the salad, how fresh it is and it’s the best food in Sisters or Bend. You will get a better salad here than you will get at any of the expensive restaurants in the whole area. The people running the truck really care about the food that they create. I got fish tacos next-door, and bought a salad from the food truck. The combination was absolute heaven. We are so lucky to have such high-quality food in this beautiful small town. I tried root bound today for the first time, and I loved it! I got the savory bowl and also tried the nacho cheese made with nutritional yeast. Everything I tried was so fresh and packed with flavor. The coconut rice was phenomenal, the pickled veggies were so delicious I was legitimately sad when some fell on the floor. We had such a nice lunch sitting outside enjoying the sun, eating such delicious nutrient dense food. The folks who worked there were super helpful, friendly and kind.
