Let me start out by saying that I really want to see this place succeed. As a resident of Skippack this location has had high turnover and it would be great to see something succeed. Skippack already has two other Mexican restaurants in town so this place will really have to stand out to succeed.
The food was overall good. The mole sauce was delicious and I was very happy with my burrito. The fajitas were fairly bland and didn't have much seasoning. I was disappointed that you have to pay for chips and salsa l, as almost every other Mexican restaurant seems to give those to each table complimentary. That said, the prices are reasonable and the guacamole we ordered was quite good. The menu is a little bit disorganized and doesn't offer as many choices as the other local restaurants do but we left full and happy.
The service was mediocre given we were literally the only customers in the place, which was sort of awkward.
I enjoyed the free margarita and overall I wish this place the best of luck. They just need to improve the...
Read moreLos Cabritos exceeded expectations. I am not joking when I say this is one of the best burritos I have ever had. I was blown away. The service was friendly and prompt, all the staff were so helpful and inviting. It was a quick turn around from ordering to receiving our food. Los Cabritos has a patio out back and a porch, as well as inside seating. We had the tortilla chips with three homemade salsas and pico de gallo that blew us away. The chips were obviously home made as well and you can tell the owners love what they do and take great pride in their restaurant. You will not be disappointed. The owner said for Cinco de Mayo they're going to have specials and I bet they're gonna be amazing. Everything was made with so much care and love, it is well worth the trip. I would go out of my way to stop here. There's a large indoor space so they could accommodate a large group. The flan was amazing and the tres leches layer cake looked fantastic I just didn't have anymore room to try. I'll be dreaming of this...
Read moreWonderful restaurant on a cute strip of Skippack. We sat on the front porch, taking in the cute town. Service was A+ and the food felt homestyle-- made with love and care. Al pastor poblano burrito was excellent...the meat was some of the better al pastor I've had. Well grilled, not super fatty. I loved that we got 3 sauce options alongside the burritos. Homemade chips were so good we ordered a second plate. Rarely get dessert, but we were so charmed by the experience we splurged on one.
The patio and porch are nice in warm weather, and there is a large dining room with big windows in the back to accommodate large and small groups.
We had such a nice experience. I will definitely be back when near the area! I wanted to try the tamales but they were not ready yet for the night...
