Rotolo's Craft & Crust — Restaurant in Slidell

We went there yesterday, unbelievable and phenomenal pizza. Definitely not just your average pizza joint. I'm not much to leave food reviews, or restaurant reviews. This one was well worth leaving a review tho, when we went their it was a nice scenery inside. Very cool and amazing family staff, we ordered 4 large pizzas. 2 for us and 2 for our Cleco guys, obviously 2pizzas isnt enough for 8 workers. Definitely better than nothing tho, the least we can do for what they do for each and everyone of us with our power. Hopefully they enjoyed the pizza as much as we did to. We ordered 3 meat pizzas and obviously had to get a bbq pizza. The bbq pizza was high on flavors, definitely not just some toppings thrown together and made with care and love. These people definitely take time to deliver an awesome product, so the price is well worth it. The meat pizza is very good also both are exceptionally well. I dont know which one I like better. The meat pizza is special because it has a sweet flavor to it with some kick just perfect, definitely not spicy or nothing. Just made great and amazing, I definitely dont work for these people. I just enjoyed the pizzas and had to share my my experience. Hopefully to go back soon, if yall wanna try something different this is the perfect place for you. Also you would think when u get a meat pizza it's just 1 flavor, and everything kinds just tastes the same but not this pizza. Ohh and I almost forgot had to leave a $3 tip cuz God laid it on my heart to do so, ever since hurricane I felt the need to give more just a little bit. They gave us a free drink, which was awesome that was definitely out of the blue and didnt expect that. Everyone their has great taste for how a pizza should be made. Really disappointed...we had eaten there once before and were pleased with the experience. This time was bad...gouged on a small caeser we split @ $10.. we could have had a side one each at $4 apiece...(salad was good, even though dressing was not homemade..hence more than one star in rating). Margherita pizza was a 4 on a scale of 10...canned tomato and tasteless mozzarella and shredded basil...crust was good. Service was canned also...got some attitude when I only ordered water to drink... check back was done when we were almost finished... server had no personality and had the gall to write on the check "cash tips appreciated"....learn some skills in the art of waiting tables slick...and get oranges for your draft Blue Moon if your going to charge $7.00 for one. Also beware...the large fan makes it very drafty. And please store the pizza boxes in the back...not on tables out of the...

So today I order Buffalo cauliflower with cheesy bread. Walked in and was immediately turned off by the cheesy bread because the cook used his bare hands to sprinkle parmesan cheese with his fingers and nails. So I decided to get just the cauliflower. COMPLETELY disappointed, I haven't eaten chicken in OVER 10 years and mixed in with my cauliflower was a piece of fried chicken!!! So upset!! This is a taste I would rather not have. This is a texture I would rather not experience! My 1st experience was good, this time was gross and disappointing. Plus the cauliflower was drenched in buffalo sauce. I'm literally traumatized!!
