I had given this Wendy's 1 star several years ago, but the mamagement obviously changed and I would say in the last couple years that they have gotten better and averaged probably a 4, UNTIL TODAY. Went in for breakfast, and the tall young man at the register was very welcoming and polite (plus 1 star). Unfortunately, he informed me that they had NO biscuits, and also NO croissants. That literally left 1 SINGLE OPTION for breakfast sandwiches, the baconator. OK, that's fine, I ordered the combo meal. It came smashed down, and when I took the top off, it had almost no bacon whatsoever. I went to the counter and politely asked for more bacon, showing the young man my empty sandwich. I said that the board stated 6 "strips" of bacon (see picture). The lady he took it to loudly exclaimed "it don't come with 6, but I'll fix it for you". As I pointed out the board to the young man, from the back I heard "It ain't nuthin' to cry about, Imma fix it for you", in an intentionally insulting tone. When I did get the sandwich back, it still had very little bacon on it. At this point, I asked for my money back. Having my sandwich handled by the obviously unhappy employee made me wary of eating it. Attached is a picture of the sandwich, opened up. This is after it was "fixed". It actually had even less bacon on it before. I didn't take a pic of the sandwich before it was fixed, assuming I would get it taken care of and not planning on a negative review. The young lady manager was very polite, gave me my refund without attitude and even offered to remake the sandwich (the other plus one star), which I refused, again, wary of what might have been done to my food. If you do go in and the belligerent lady with the short blond hair is making food, better check it. She literally had ONE BREAKFAST SANDWICH TYPE TO MAKE, and didn't even know how to do that properly. Not only is she ignorant of her simple job, she also has anger issues and seems to hate the world. Scrolling through the latest reviews, I don't see how or why the Wendy's corporate office would let a location like this one stay open. They are MOSTLY ONE-STAR REVIEWS, AND THAT'S THE LOWEST POSSIBLE. I wonder how many ZEROS they would have if it...
Read moreThis is the Wendy's on Northshore Boulevard (airport road) in Slidell la. I quit Wendy's two years ago, no matter which one I used, They couldn't get my order right, Always something missing. Like a fry or burger. The bags are taped closed, and I don't want the food to get cold. I always order online, so the order is in front of their face. I gave them another chance last night ( the first time in 2 years). I even asked the lady to please take extra time to get the order right. But, Got home and $2.99 fry was missing. Plus, tax $3.25 was stolen from me. I think for a $33 order, a little service should come with it. I go to McDonald's about twice a week,, order online,, and they get it right 99% of the time and bring it to me in the parking lot, faster than the drive though most of the time. Wendy's gets it right 0% of the time. The food is good at Wendy's. But it cost me $10 more than McDonald's to feed. My family of 4. And someone in the family is not full because part of their order is missing. It is not worth $6 in gas to go back for $3.25. So if you want to eat at Wendy's order extra food, and plan on having some of your money stolen. Update 09/24 two more years has pasted, so I gave Wendy's another chance. Same story as before. I GOT home missing a fry. I walked into the store, hoping they would get it right. They barely spoke english. They only spoke deep hood. It was english, with heavy ebonics. this place was disgusting. Compare it to any Macdonalds and see which one you prefer to have your...
Read moreThis place does not have it together at all. We go there about once every 3 months and it is quite memorable that every time there is an issue. The employees are mostly very nice and apologetic. But this time, they were out of Coke (!) And chili sauce. Without the chill sauce, I don't like Wendy's food. I put it on everything they serve. So the whole meal was ruined for me. Plus, the wait in the drive thru, once I got to the speaker, was excessively ridiculous. Then no Coke. When I eat fast food, I want Coke! I bet a lot of the rest of the world does, too! This place desperately needs to get it together
UPDATE! We went yesterday through the driveway. I had a bad feeling. And I was right. The woman taking the order over the loud speaker typed up a completely wrong order on the screen, so I corrected her. She read me back something totally different than what I even said. I thought I was on candid camera. I couldn't believe she was this bad. So finally, I see what I don't want on my hamburger on the screen, but told her what I did. She said okay. I felt for the people who had been waiting in back of me so I did not check my order before I pulled away and I knew better. Well, I was right. I got a hamburger with NOT ONE CONDIMENT on it. A dry, funky burger. It was awful, dry and I can't believe I ever went back. They have...
