McDonald's — Restaurant in Smithfield

Beware! not to buy from this branch! I went today and order a happy meal and extra 4 pieces chicken nuggets. I was surprised, the worker said it was $3.89 for 4 pieces? Why do some mcdonalds charge $1.89 for 4 pcs?. Anyway this mcdonald has the worse staff ever. I ordered a happy meal and told the cashier that I needed an extra 4 pieces along with it and I gave her $20, and she said ok. When I came to window, their employee, handed me the happy meal without 4 pc. I asked about extra 4 pcs and she said, "give me your card", coz the first window cashier didn't charge me for 4 pcs, so I handed my card, and guess what, she never gave me the 4 pcs😅🤣 then I went inside to get my extra 4 pcs, the spanish guy manager was on the phone and ignored the employee, and I went outside to make sure that they didn't put the extra 4 pc with the happy meal. Then, I went back inside again and they were talking spanish, the lady who charges my card was trying to charge my card again😅🤣😂. They don't know how to handle their customers, and they are not organize. I was like, yeah I haven't got my 4 pcs, she forgot my extra 4 pc and yet she wants to charge me again. They don't pay attention! They just want you to pay for your order and the hell, with your food😅🤣. This was the worst mcdonald I have ever been to. They looked at me like it was my fault that I didn't get my extra nuggets! Manager, do your job, stop looking at your phone and don't ignore any concerns! They finally gave me the nuggets! I even said, thank you...

After wrapping up a thorough Termite & Home Inspection job, my stomach let out a growl so loud it probably registered on the Richter scale.

I ordered the 1/4 Pounder with Cheese, and sweet mercy, it was like biting into a warm, juicy symphony of USDA greatness. The cheese was perfectly melted—like it had gone to college to learn the art of cling—and the beef patty was so fresh, I swear it whispered "you're welcome" after every bite. The pickles and onions were playing tag with my taste buds while the sesame seed bun held it all together like a hero without a cape.

Service? Fast. Friendly. Flawless. Cleanliness? You could eat off the tables—and I almost did, but society frowns on that kind of behavior.

I showed up at around 4:40 AM and tried to order two steak egg and cheese biscuits with a sausage gravy biscuit and upon reaching the speaker am greeted with the most unenthusiastic “I don’t wanna be here” voice I’ve ever heard from a young man. Now I understand how early it was but goodness it was bad. Upon asking for my two biscuits he instead rings up two bagels, SUB biscuits which is 1$ or so more and can be avoided by simply ringing up a steak egg and cheese biscuit but upon informing him of this option he just tells me “I’ll just tell the cook to replace it with a biscuit…” and not wanting to get into an argument I just accept the 1$ extra and order my sausage gravy biscuit as well which he has trouble comprehending even though all I said was “I want a sausage gravy biscuit, just the biscuit” (as not to confuse it for the meal) and in response I get “uhh it’s not letting me select only biscuit” and I understand that there is an “only” option for most sandwiches but come on people order just the sandwich/biscuits like that all the time and I know from personal experience as a previous McDonald’s employee. All in all would not recommend this location to anyone (at least early in the morning) I would definitely recommend the one on west market street though. They have workers with much better service than this place...
