ORDERED ON APP 10 MINUTES BEFORE ARRIVAL AT 8:21pm RECEIVED ORDER AT 8:55 & IT WAS WRONG.
The wife and I ordered on the app on Monday 5/20. We were 10 minutes away or so. When we arrived, the line was about 4 cars long. It was our turn to order within just a minute or 2 but after we told them we had an order on the app It took us 15 minutes or so to get to the window. During that time, a car got tired of waiting and pulled off. When we got to the window, he said OK pull straight up for us. That was a mistake. We waited about 15 more minutes and another car got sick of waiting and pulled off before my wife said I think they forgot about us and decided to go in. After about 3 minutes of her being in there, I turned the car off and walked inside as well. After another minute or so I told her to go to the car and I would handle it. I was ready to lose my stuff. After another minute I heard a crew member mention our order and another answered that we never showed up. I screamed that we have been waiting at the front of the drive-through line for 40 minutes and you have served 3 cars behind us! She apologized and then gave me the food in probably less than a minute. As I walked out, she screamed; “Do you want to get back here and cook the food?!” There was no one else around and I don’t think she was talking to a crew member, but she could have been. We had only ordered 4 things and no drinks. A hotdog, jalapeño poppers, a chicken wrap, and tater tots. I was about to get into the vehicle I had my wife check and make sure all of the food was there. They had left out the chicken wrap. I took it back in there and waited another five minutes or so. When she handed it to me, she apologized again and said we were waiting on the chicken for that. That was clearly a lie since I heard them admit that we were forgotten. And it doesn’t take 30 minutes to fry one piece of chicken. I don’t know where the guy who was at the window went or if he communicated to them but this was beyond sorry. I am used to waiting 15 to 20 minutes just for a milkshake or drink when we come here but this is a new record. I’ve always had understanding and patience for people who work in this industry because I know it is hard work, I worked at Wendys for a while, but these people are beyond ridiculous. I would be surprised if more than one of them owns a car and even one of them could pass a drug test. The whole crew needs to be fired and replaced & the hourly rate increased to 18/hr so we can have people that actually care and try. Read moreI am not allowed to give a ZERO star rating so I'm forced to give ONE. On July 10,2019 I took my daughter to this location to get an MandM Shake with came to total 2.69 at the window. Upon giving Tristan my debit card, he kindly stated that it was declined. He made me aware that this had been occurring with other patrons and that he would hate to have a double charge placed on my account. I provided another card and the same thing happened. I was very put off by the fact that this has happened several times to me at this location and not any other place that I shop, so I asked for the manager. An oily, rude face showed up at the window with a piercing in her nose stating that she was the manager and that I needed to give her another method of payment of make sure that I have sufficient funds in my account. I pulled up my online banking ans said to her that I was frustrated that this happens all the time at this Sonic. She said that there is nothing for her to do for me. She stated to me in front of my children and all of those young employees who must look up to her for mentor-ship since she is the manager there and said, "I refuse to serve you" slammed the window and placed the lock on the window. I pulled into the stall and made a physical note considering that when in the heat of a moment things can go array , but what I do know is that here in this country, we are to be afforded a level of respect and courtesy when we patronize our local establishments. This manager did not uphold a standard to any degree. She was disheveled and pardon my blunt truths, but looked impaired to some degree. She was oily and did not look or act professional at all. The entire crew witnessed this blatant disregard for being in a professional work environment and utterly refusal to create resolve to an issue that Tristan had already confirmed had been happening. Then to refuse to serve me. This cant happen to another customer, I have to contact the corporate entity, franchiser, and whomever else that can assist me to address this. I have never been treated this way my entire life under any circumstance and I can let this one ride. I am a Registered Nurse and I will ensure that I get the word around town of what has occurred in the presence of so many. Read moreStopped by with my son tonight for dinner and it was good. The employee who took our order was very nice and attentive. She was sure to respond to us as soon as she knew we were there and she read back our order to ensure accuracy. She spoke with a smile and was great.
We had to wait a few minutes for our food, which was understandable and expected. We had no issues waiting. The food was fresh and nice and hot. Our burgers were made properly and to order. The only issue we had was our tater tots were under cooked as they were pale and soft, and they were extremely salty. We could deal with the over salting of the toys but with them being pale, soft, not crispy at all, no color, made them unenjoyable to eat. They were hot and you could tell they had been in the fryer as you could feel the oil on them but they looked and tasted like they were taken out of the fryer too soon.
The employee who brought the food out to us to our car, was very nice and made sure to identify the food and drinks as he was handing them to us. He spoke very softly and it was hard to hear him as There were several cars coming in and going through the drive-thru which was located directly behind us in the parking stall that we were pulled into.
All in all, it was good. The employees were nice, friendly, helpful, and seemed to do their job quite well. The only downside in our experience was the tater tots, which unfortunately was a bummer because Sonic is known for having...
