Today's date: October 2, 2025. *Warning* Photo contains rat droppings. I found a rat poop in my food I ordered from this location. Wow I never thought I’d ever write such a long review in my life.. But for the safety of other customers, hear me out. Here’s what happened yesterday: Yesterday(October 1st) around 12:12 PM I arrived to this location and ordered 12 wings with 3 Mardi Gras sauces. After I paid, I went straight back home. The wings weren't hot enough and I wanted to reheat my food. So I put the whole package without a box (with the grease paper still under the chicken, the way Popeyes packs it) into my air fryer. After it was reheated, I lifted the wings along with the paper. While moving it back into the box, something dropped. I put on a clear glove, picked it up, and looked closely for minutes. It was a small, wrinkled black piece that looked like rat poop. I even googled the other photos of rat poops to compare it. (Poop normally comes out with a bumpy or uneven shape because it takes on the folds and contours of the colon as it passes through) It must have been with the chicken or on the paper already before they pack it. What happened next was honestly worse than finding the droppings. When I went back to the store and explained, 2 employees and a female manager immediately denied it. Instead, they kept repeating that I had used an air fryer implying it was somehow my fault. So what are they suggesting? That I keep rat droppings in my air fryer at home? They basically treated me as a liar. By the way, I still have the droppings as evidence. Anyway, the female manager? Whoever I argued with until I leave the store, continues to argue, and instead of addressing the issue, she told me not to accuse her staffs as if reporting rat droppings in my food was the same thing as insulting her employees. And what about me, the customer who almost ate contaminated food? So your logic is that I offended your staffs simply because I pointed out the problem that I experienced? Such remarkable professionalism when it comes to customer safety. By the way, you kept insisting that the store had scored a perfect 100 on its hygiene inspection, using it to argue with me over and over, first of all, a score alone cannot fully prove a store’s hygiene. The inspection score only reflects how the store was at the moment the inspector visited. The score is based on that specific day, and because the store neglected proper hygiene the incident happened to me as a customer. If the store continued to maintain hygiene and cleanliness, how could something this serious problem can possibly happen to a customer so soon after y'all got a "perfect scores"? It only proves that this location failed to do proper pest control and hygiene within just two weeks after their last inspection. Even though this is a clear violation of food safety, the manager continued to dodge responsibility. I got my money back, but hey, I'm not that a free person to make a trouble just over $15. This experience something that could have seriously threatened my health and safety. What was the final words from manager? 'Do whatever you want.' Hahaha wow, if you found rat droppings in your own food, would you still eat it and let it slide? "Oh I just found a rat poop from my food that ordered. I'm just gonna eat it anyway." This is what I wanna tell the manager. If you were to find something like that in your food and still eat it in front of me, swallow it, and go a few hours without throwing up, then I’d give you a big applause. I’ve been a customer here for years, but after this, never again. Popeyes clearly doesn’t care about customer safety. Instead of taking responsibility, this location chose to be defensive and even disrespectful toward me. To anyone reading this, please think twice before eating here. At this location, they serve contaminated food, and if you raise a complaint about finding something in it, they’ll put all the blame on you, making you a total liar in an instant. And I literally gagged yesterday so many times despite not eating it.

The inside was open as well as the line during a week day 2 hours before closing. When they are crazy busy they only have the drive through open, but the attitudes on the inside.... It's best to stay in your car. My order was missing somethings & replaced with something else. I had to go back to get it corrected the following day Thats when I discovered they were not letting anyone in ( Fridays & during rush hour going home). The manager let me in to view my receipt & investigate the issue I was given my missing items but had to suggest my own accommodations for traveling back to this location to get my missing items. The accommodation I asked for was for the sides they did not have or were not willing to make the night before. I was there between 7 & 8 pm. They closed at 9pm or 10pm. There were ppl in the line behind me that night that would have enjoyed any of the sides I originally chose or had to switch to. They did not make more. I was told they did not have anymore of the item made ( fries). Not they did not have anymore or were out of them. The location was 15 mins from my home in rush (backed all the way up) traffic. The time it took to get there & park b/c I was not sitting in a long drive through line for a correction was 15 to 20. The time it took to get my missing items & suggested accommodation for my inconvenience, took 15 mins & then 15 mins back home. Almost an hour for something they did wrong the night before. Plus, there were no customers on the inside. They were moving slow and the atmosphere of employees was of the a team was miserable working in fast-food with a long line of people in their drive trhu. I got the 10 pieces bundle & added a couple of items. At this location, it was like I got the left overs. I understand why so many people show up RIGHT AFTER WORK. Better choices but much much slower service. I get being short handed at work I truly do, but the attitudes of "you hate your life" needs to be clocked out when you are clocked in & servicing people who love the food and convenience of not cooking for that night.

Was visiting Atlanta and since they don't have this famous chicken sandwich in Toronto I decided to get into the line. First question was, do we sit in the 20 car lineup at the Drive-Thru or stand in the 18-person line up inside the restaurant? We chose to go inside only to find out that there were another 8 ppl who had already ordered but we're now waiting to pick up their food. The wait was pleasant because the ppl in line were friendly and we're all telling jokes, one guy said he works on the area and this was the shortest he'd ever seen the line. Now for the sandwich... it was very tasty, but also very salty... Pickles, bun and sauce were definitely the stars, that being said it was a tender and larger than expected piece of chicken... Definitely happy I tried it... but not something I would stand in a line again for 24 minutes to get. Two suggestions, there was a three sandwich limit per person, there should be a sign letting customers know that is the case. I felt bad for the staff who had to deal with irate customers who did not know. Also maybe have a separate line for those who just want to get chicken or shrimp. The whole time we were there only one guy ordered anything other than the sandwich but he still had to wait in the same line. Between my wife and I we were able to get six sandwiches for the family. As I said I enjoyed mine my wife thought hers was way too salty, and did not finish it. Everyone else liked it but agreed they wouldn't stand in line again. That being said it was better than any other chicken sandwich I've had.

Let me start by saying that this location is trash. The food was good as always, but the service is the absolute worst. Popeyes is notorious for poor customer service. The Snellville location specially is extremely egregious with now nonchalant and apathetic they are towards customer service. Myself and several customers I know deal with it because the food is good, but taking 2 apple pies out of the trash and giving them to me is extremely disrespectful.

I went through the drive through and was told I had to pull forward and my food will be brought out to me. Okay, no big deal. When my food arrived, there were two problems.

A) The bag was missing a side for one of the 3 meals I ordered. (I unfortunately didn't catch this until I got home. smh)

B) They place two biscuits in the bag instead of the 2 apple pies I ordered. I go inside to notify them of the mixup. The cashier told me that there weren't any pies ready and offered a couple different replacement items that I wasn't interested in. He said he can drop some if I was willing to wait. I told him no thank you and I'll just take a refund. That's when he looked confused and worried. He paced back and forth a couple times looking for a solution and offered a couple more items. I declined and said I just wanted the refund. With deep concern told the Manager, who was standing at the end of the counter, then they both went to the back of the store... The manager came back to the counter, and the cashier came back up a few moments later with a bag and two apples pies. They were cold and hard. I'm assuming the pies came from the trash because they did NOT come from the Kitchen or the heated staging area that is clearly visible for all customers to see.

Why in the world would you give me food that did NOT come from the kitchen and think that is okay? I will NOT go back to this location ever again. Nor will I recommend this location to anyone I know or meet. If you are reading this, save yourself some frustration and do NOT go to the Popeyes Snellville location. It's not worth the time you have to wait, having to deal with abrasive employees who don't even seem to care, the frustration of getting your order wrong, and the negative energy of getting pissed off because you knew better than to go here anyway. Don't do it. Save your money and your...
