I attended the Raising Cane’s grand opening in Snellville, excited for a chance to win free Cane’s for a year and the mentioned perks for the first 100 people. I arrived early, waited in line for hours, and was given unclear information by corporate staff. I was told nothing about having to make a purchase to receive the gift card and hat that were being promoted, but when I went inside, I was informed by the cashier (who seemed confused) and a corporate marketing team member named Leah that a purchase was necessary.
Leah’s communication was frustrating. Despite asking multiple times, the information outside was never clearly conveyed. When I purchased a combo to receive the gift card and hat, I asked if my brother and dad could receive theirs too, since they waited with me. Leah sarcastically refused, saying it was one gift per person, which hadn’t been explained at all beforehand.
I brought this up to a manager, who tried to resolve the issue but ultimately sent me back to Leah, who maintained the same stance and was dismissive, rude, and insincere in her apology. To make matters worse, I was later told by another manager, Jessica that I had been accused of cursing at the staff, which was not true. This accusation felt prejudiced, as Leah had lied about me, and Jessica seemed to side with her without any basis. As a Black woman, I couldn’t help but feel that if I were white or didn’t look as young, this situation may have been handled differently.
I was extremely disappointed by how I was treated, and although I was eventually given a gift card, the experience left me feeling disrespected and unheard. It’s unfortunate that such an exciting event was overshadowed by poor communication and prejudiced treatment.
I will not be returning to this location and hope that Raising Cane’s takes steps to ensure their staff treats customers fairly and communicates terms clearly...
Read moreAt the opportunity to try this place for the first time. I went through the drive-through, which was pretty fast. I think it’s neat that they had two operational mics. The customer service was indeed superb. I got the 2 kids meal and 3 of the three-piece meal with an additional bread. I opted for water. My children got their various soft drinks. Once I got to the window. It took a bit of a wait. The food was made to order I guess. (Not to long) I drove around to the front and sat in the car. I opened the box and you can see the pretty golden crispy chicken tenders. The fries could definitely use a little more frying. They were subpar. Some of them were soft summer a little crispy. You can tell that they use good oil because none of the food was dark or overly greasy. The meat was fresh seasoned definitely better than Zaxby’s. The bread was good. I wouldn’t say it was 10 out of 10, but it is tasty.
The food came out really hot so it had a good feel and taste. The texture of the meat was done when you break the tender it was flaky and crispy not overly salty not overly fried. I would eat here again! The average cost for family of five would run you maybe 45- 50...
Read moreI think the chicken is actually pretty decent, but wish they had more than just one sauce available for dipping. The staff is very rude. I've been here several times because my kids love it, and nearly every time they sneak in some sort of upcharge for a large drink or an extra sauce I didn't order. I've also had it where they changed a 3 tender combo to a Caniac combo for an additional few dollars. By the time you realize they did it, the check has already been paid and they act very put out to fix their mistake. My guess is they are doing this with way more orders than just ours since this has happened to us on at least 3 different visits. I bet most people just let it go since they already paid the check. The first time we brought it to their attention, the employee told my wife she was wrong and that we did order the extras he put on the check and then he just walked away from the counter without fixing anything. Unbelievably rude. We always get a rude look instead of a simple 'sorry about that, let me fix it' sort of attitude. They just stare you down like they are annoyed you caught their 'mistake.' Chicken is fine, atmosphere is fine,...
