When the store first opened I did happen to work there for almost a year. Started out great but if I was to tell what happened behind the counter you wouldn’t even want to eat here. I feel as if that would be a personal biased review so put that in the back of your mind for a second. I still continued to eat there after I left because that was a personal matter and the food was still outstanding regardless. From the ribs being PERFECT, as well as the juicy turkey, right along with the mouth- watering brisket. All the sides were exceptional, and the dessert tied it all together. However you can’t have good food with the type of service they have now. Every time I went back the quality of everything dropped with it, and I now see if the service isn’t exceptional the food won’t be either. Maybe its just the location or my personal experience but even my family went after I left and gave me their reviews. The chipotle bbq was a fav and now the toast comes hard and the meat is always dry. My daughter and I loved the turkey because of its flavor, she wont even eat it anymore and I will say i can throw it as if it was a brick. The sides are still up to par but the expensiveness of the meat isnt worth what they are now giving out. I went one last time today for an Arnold palmer ,no ice, and a slice of turkey. He told me they don't sell slices so I asked for just the turkey sandwich, no bun, and the Arnold palmer. He proceededs to fix the order and comes to tell me the price is 13 dollars. I never wanted to drive off so bad. I respectfully asked him how if the meal is $13 itself and he proceeded to say the sandwich was $10 and the drink was $2.99. Unacceptable. I kindly asked the cashier to remove the sandwich and just give me the drink. He handed me a drink with ice and thats when I decided to come and write a review. No line in drive-thru, and also not a lot of cars were in the parking lot. Stuff still happens so I didn’t acknowledge the wait time, but now it was honestly ridiculous to have spent 8 mins for those two things, if the standard was under 2 when i was there. Maybe its my fault for giving them the benefit of the doubt after already experiencing how they roll, but they are only down street and was one of our daily meals that we no longer can have and that wasn’t acceptable to me. Favoritism was shown constantly as I worked , even with my drive being well above rest. I somehow got pushed to quit by cutting my hours from 10 a day w/ about 6 days a week. As well as pulling doubles. To 2 days with only 4 hours. I am now unapologetically sharing I am an African American single mom, and that tells it all when my manager was a white female who loved to let me know she also has black in her. Be cautious and do speak up if something...
Read moreGot to the drive thru speaker after waiting behind only 2 cars for 15 minutes and was immediately "greeted" by someone that was clearly irritated by something or someone. Wasn't very polite and rushed us to order, telling us to pull up to the window after assuming I was done with my order after ordering my third item. They were sold out of 2 of the things we wanted to try on a Tuesday evening at around 6-7pm which is frustrating but understandable. Then after waiting another 20 minutes in line we finally get to the window. We only order 18 Wings, Fries, and Fried Okra. They take payment then we wait another 5 minutes or so before they give us the food. While the girl was handing me my food I asked for ranch and she closed the window in the middle of my sentence. I figured she didn't hear me so no offense taken. There are 4 cars behind me by this point but there were none when I ordered my food nearly 30 minutes ago. I don't understand why nobody came back to the window for another 3-5 minutes after I attempted to ask for the ranch because there are plenty of cars behind me. I honk my horn lightly to get their attention and notice that at least 4 members of the staff are arguing or debating passionately about something lol. I honk a second time and the girl makes eye contact with me then continued arguing with the other employees. Finally a different girl comes to the window and I ask for the ranch. She leaves and comes back and says we are out of ranch did I want Chipotle ranch instead. I say yes. A few minutes later she comes back with a cup of ranch and hands it to me. It has ranch all over the container so it gets on my hands when I grab it. She walked away before I realized this. She also joins the ongoing argument. I unfortunately did not have napkins in my car and the ones they gave me are sealed inside the little prepackaged utensil packs so I don't want to open that with ranch on both hands. So I honk again, the first girl comes to the window and I ask for a napkin. She hands me another utensil pack lmao. I asked if she could give me one of the paper towels from the paper towel dispenser right behind her and she huffs before closing the window and grabbing the napkin. On top of all of this the wings were average at best and the fries were overcooked. Fried Okra was soggy and hardly seasoned. Also, this was hilarious to me, the ranch she gave me was regular ranch after saying they only had Chipotle ranch lol. I never leave google reviews but I made it a point to leave one on this restaurant. I honestly want them to build something else in it's place. The staff is terrible and the other two restaurants on either side of it have better food and...
Read moreArrived to the location lot. Six cars infront of me before the speaker. Six cars past the speaker waiting in the drive-thru lane. Two additional cars pulled over to the side waiting for their order. 24 minutes to pull up to the speaker. Once I pulled up to the speaker I ordered pulled chicken and ribs. Was told pulled chicken, ribs, sausage and many other side items are not available. (Sold out. How does corporate not order enough food for this location? )Ordered brisket and corn pudding waited another 11 minutes to get my food. Got my food pulled over in the parking lot to Check my order confirm it's right. Decide to taste the items since I was very hungry now since this process took over 35 minutes. The brisket was cold like it's been sitting out for an extended time frame! No seasoning on the brisket not worth the wait time or money spent. Also tasted the corn pudding. It was runny and not very good. Spent $23. 35 total minutes for Walmart quality food at best! Do yourself and your family a favor and go somewhere else...Highly disappointed. Pictures attached..
Update 10/09/2023. Corporate reached out to me and provided a credit for the previous order amount. I ordered pulled chicken sandwich smoked turkey hush puppies, fried okra and french fries. My order was ready when I arrived. The food quality was improved from the first visit. I ordered the food online and picked it up in the store. Corporate also provided a peach cobbler coupon that I was unable to use even though the order amount was reached I am not searching why. This time around the chicken was good. So was the turkey. The hush puppies were good. The okra however, wasn't crispy. Definitely needed improvements and the french fries were good but a bit soggy. I'm updating my original review based on my second visit to the location. I also did not go through the drive-thru and came on the Monday this time around. Last time I came through on a Sunday and went through the drive-thru when I had a...
