The food here is great for the price, and with portions that feel like you're getting what you paid for. Flavors are delicious, and their bread is always superb. I love coming to La Madeleine if it's an option for a meal because it's such a simple, delicious choice. The pastries are always delicious and delectable, in portions that are not outrageous. The sweets here are very decadent. This location is no different.

The hot chocolate comes with a separate bowl of vanilla whipped cream and a croissant for dipping. Very decadent, and feels a little more elevated and special. Very cute to order for a casual lunch meeting.

This location's decor is cute, but it isn't as rustic and kitschy as the one at the Fountains. There is a certain charm to the use of space there that can't be found here. However, it's very open and airy with lots of windows, which is nice if you enjoy something newer and...

I typically enjoy this place. This evening, I ended up ordering the Salmon entree. This is my second time ordering this entree, except first time eating at this location. I have also had other entrees in the past. In this particular case, something smelled different. I tried to make sense of it. Wasn’t sure if it was the salmon with the special sauce or something else (if the dishes just didn’t get washed correctly). I ate the salmon nonetheless, as it seemed to taste ok. There was just a weird smell to it. When I told the waitress who picked up my plate upon concluding my meal, she also said she thought something smelled differently as well. Let me tell you. I wanted to try this place since it opened. Me and my son went. Since it was still morning we decided to get the fresh berry waffle and the Nutella strawberry crepes. The Waffle had maybe 4 Blueberries and 3 Raspberries and 1 whole strawberry sliced. The Nutella strawberry crepes came with custard and strawberries inside and some Hersheys syrup and chocolate sprinkles. The crepes was not what I know as a crepes it was very dry and the ends were hard. I’m European and I know what crepes consistency should be like. The most shocking thing is where was the Nutella?
