For us to review a place and provide a 1 star something had to have been pretty terrible. We placed an order through the Whataburger app for delivery the estimate said 20-30 min, which wasnât a problem. About 10 minutes later our order got picked up and said it was in route and would be delivered shortly. We waited for 20 minutes before checking the tracking. The driver still showed the location as in a nearby shopping center. I called the driver via the number provided in the Whataburger message. He said sorry but he was waiting at another restaurant for another delivery order and didnât know how long it would be. My order was never delivered. I then called the Whataburger location and spoke to three different âmanagersâ and they told me there was no way for them to cancel or refund the order because it was placed as an online order. They advised that I would have to call the 800 number in the app. So I did. After a quick hold time, the representative told me she wouldnât be able to process a refund, but would file a report for management review. I explained I didnât receive my order and that I wanted a refund. She said that wasnât possible, that I would be contacted in a few days. Her report was very lengthy, she asked for every single piece of information possible (rewards number, email address, home address, phone number, name, order number, store number). After all of this, I asked her why couldnât I receive a refund and she stated there is a report that has to get done with all refunds.
This is the worst process we have ever dealt with. We are in the restaurant business and if we told a customer that we would need to file a report in order to give a refund, and not offer immediate resolution (maybe try and fix the mistake, apologize, etc) we would not survive. Claudia brought back the spicy ketchup in a separate bag but didnât bring the burger missing and Then jasmine the team leader comes out and asked us if we didnât have with us the hamburger and obviously we didnât thatâs why we told Claudia and where waiting since it was something that was charged.jasmine goes back brings the hamburger missing and then is giving attitude all the way. We tell her the a nice attitude would change things and she proceeds to say that they wrap all the hamburger la and that they knew they had wrapped the missing burger insinuating we just wanted a free one. We ask her to check the cameras and why would we waste our time waiting if we have somewhere to be.

I suggest, if that is the case, the workers park together on a certain side or quadrant, of the parking lot so dine-in folks and pickup order folks (and drive-thru clientele) get a clear view of the fast-food joint. There are three reserved spots for folks who order ahead and want to get their grub taken out to them, kinda like the old car hops used to back in the 50's foray. My custom order was very good. A burger is a burger. The O-rings were slightly sweet and did not gag me because of a drenching oil. The Diet Coke was bubbly, cold and tasty.
