La Michoacana Yaya Homemade Ice Cream — Restaurant in Texas

I was introduced to this place by my Uncle when I was a kid and loved this place so much after that. Im 26 now and this place takes me back especially now that my Uncle isn't alive anymore. I would give it 5 stars just for the delicious taste and for the memories behind it, but the last couple times going, there's a very rude employee that rolls her eyes and makes us feel like we are ordering a very complex order when my husband and I order the same ice cream, which is only 2 scoops and 2 different flavors, and 2 same toppings. It's seems like it's extra work for her to also put it in to go cups. And I thought that the to go cups came with lids every time because the first time I ordered at this location, it wasn't with that employee and she didn't give any hassel or attitude for the to go ups with lids. I don't know her name but she seems to not be happy in her job? I understand we all have something going on in our life, but it's the same on this end. Treat others how you want to be treated and understand that we are coming in hoping to lift up the day with our favorite ice cream, not make it worse. Today we went in and this time it wasn't the same rude employee serving us. As we were eating towards the end of the ice cream, my Husband was almost finished to find out he had some kind of hard, sharp, thick plastic in his mouth. I love this place but I think there needs to be changes for better customer service and Im not sure what else needs to be done with the objects now being found in...

It was so unfortunate that the staff was not professional. I went on Friday 13,2025, from 9:15pm-9:40pm. I waited a long time to get my stuff. I purchased three aguas frescas, two ice creams, and two tostilocos. We had already paid on our way out. My dad carried the aguas frescas. Still, the cup holder was flawed, and my dad dropped the water. The girl helping us got upset, even though it was an accident. We asked her to make another ice cream and water, but she said no because she had to clean up our mess first! We asked another employee, and she made the ice cream and charged us again. It was so sad; it was my favorite place. I'm not going anymore. There is no customer service, and there are no professional staff members. I was not expecting them to give me my aguas frescas for free, even though the cup holder was not good! The fact that she said is to wait cause she had to clean very bad experience! Not going...

There was no problem with the service, the ladies are great! However, when I went 08/09/24, it was late at night 9:00, we were dining in and when I bought a paleta, I asked if the lady could save it for me on the side for now till I leave so it doesn’t melt. When we left at 10, I completely forgot, and it was my fault that I forgot. I came back the next day to ask if by any chance I can get the paleta I forgot yesterday, a nice young lady went to tell the manager and the manager said even with the receipt they can’t prove that they gave it to us. I don’t blame them, I understand it was my fault I forgot, but the manager didn’t put any effort to help us,didn’t even show their face.A lady offered to pay out of her pocket for us to get the paleta, but we politely declined because we understand she works...
