Maya Sol Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Somerville

I always get a chicken burrito, it always tastes amazing and seasoned. The wait time isn’t bad if you’re getting it delivered, just make sure you give the place a good 15 mins to make the food. They follow the instructions and give chips and salsa with the burrito. 10/10 would recommend to people who like burritos.

Update 7-22-24 : I recently ordered from through uber eats and all I wanted was a chicken burrito, the first time I ordered I didn't get my chicken burrito and decided to order again hoping they would get it right. They didn’t get the order right the second time either and all I ordered was a chicken burrito. I am seriously disappointed and really hope it was just an off day.

The second time round when I ordered the burrito I made a note stating that I had previously ordered from them a couple minutes prior and they gave me a tiramisu for free, which was nice but the burrito that they gave me with my order, wasn’t my order and I can’t eat beef so defeated...

There are a lot of good taquerías in the neighborhood, but so far this one is our favorite. To be fair, we haven’t tried the tacos; we were so excited to find a place that sells homemade tamales that we both got tamales. The chicken tamale was good but not outstanding; the pork tamales were truly outstanding with tender, juicy pork and a couple chunks of potato. And the sweet tamale with elote (street corn) was really good; more a dessert food. After our meal, I got cheesecake (for my partner but I had a taste and it was delicious) and tamales (for me) to go, so I've been enjoying their food for a few days now.

The only criticism I have is that the TV was pretty loud. It wasn't too distracting, though, since what was on was nature videos with what sounded like AI-generated narration, so there were no big changes in volume and it was easy to tune...

Bad customer service! They forgot some of my pupusas, I called and told them they were missing and the woman was arguing with me that they are there. Then tells me she will check the camera and get back to me. She was mad and was telling the other workers that I must be lying. Unreal. Why would I call and try to get money for 3 pupusas? I order full plates, soups, burritos, everything. I don’t need to lie about a 3 dollar food. I felt super offended and sad that they would treat me like this after all the business I’ve given them and all the referrals I’ve given for them. I probably wouldn’t want to come back because I would feel embarrassed. I would check your food before leaving so that you don’t have the same issue as me, you do not want to deal with the ladies...
