This was the strangest experience I’ve ever had. Came in here at 9am on a Tuesday like the pregnant fat kid I am needing a bagel and cream cheese.

Turns out their bagels are sold in packs of 3 only. I went back and forth with the cashier being like but I just want ONE bagel. It is truly the oddest business model to be forced to buy 3 bagels for 15 bucks with cream cheese that only works for like 2 of the bagels.

I proceeded to be forget about it I’ll just google somewhere else in assembly when an angel of a store manager appeared like my knight in shining armor- he said he would just on the house give me 2 bagels and only charge me for the cream cheese (7). That was a really honest to goodness customer service act right there.

This dude totally made it right to be like yeah it’s really weird we don’t do single bagels.

Overall great experience here and the food was good, I just won’t be back because well… I just want one bagel and cream cheese for 3.50 like a normal place (mamalehas etc).

If you come here you can also eat at capitol one next door bc this spot has literally...

I saw that they opened at Assembly Row and I had read about them so I thought I'd try them. Knowing I'd inhale the bagel on my way out, I ordered 3 plain (not knowing their pricing model, etc.) The woman asked if I wanted cream cheese (shmear), No. $16.05. What? So I realized their model is 3 bagels and a small tub of cream cheese (or 6 bagels, etc.) but not 1 or 2 or 3 without cream cheese. OK, fine. A bit odd (as other reviews have put, especially if you're one person) but I figured WTH, I'd try it. Was it the best bagel I've ever had in my life? Well, yes, it was actually, but to be fair, they were hot and right out of the oven and I was hungry. I may have eaten a 2nd one on the way home. Giving them 4 stars because of their pricing model and price. The bagels were 5 stars (for me). The woman who waited on me was super nice. Also, the point of sale thing asks for a tip (they're literally handing you bagels in a paper bag, not cutting them or putting the cream cheese on them or anything). The tip culture is a bit...

Now I know you are probably thinking, why am I giving two stars when my rating for the place consists of only 1 star? Well, I will tell you. To put it simply, I had placed an order the day before to ensure I could receive the week's limited edition schmears, so I placed my order and moved on with my life, thinking I was getting them. Simply put, I went out of my way to get them. When I walked in, I said I was picking up my order. However, when they brought my order, they informed me that they had been sold out since the previous day. The only reason they are receiving a 2-star review is that they did offer me a refund. But it should have been advertised on the site, or they should have messaged me before coming, cause they did ask for my...

POP UP bagels in Assembly made my whole morning!! I went with my boyfriend and sister after dropping our daughter off in Kindergarten. We could not stop talking about how delicious the bagels are, warm and crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside, I could never eat a regular bagel again. And paired the schmear, the scallion was by far the best, chefs kiss. Don’t get me started on the customer service, Brian in the front was so welcoming, helpful and just lovely! We talked about going again on a Thursday just so we would be able to see him again. Idk about other locations but this was a 10/10 for me!!

Very disappointing! I come here every week to try out the new flavors and I love bagels. Every time I come I get either the butter or cream cheese and it’s always soft and easy to scoop up with pieces of the bagel. However, this time the butter I got was frozen rock solid! I have to crush it up with the cup and my hand just to get chunks of it on my bagel. I also asked about the new cream cheese flavor and they said they didn’t have it, but I saw it on the counter and the worker was putting it inside a bag! Overall, I think I’ll stop coming here because why am I paying $15 for frozen butter?
