DINNER REVIEW Great food plus great service earns this place a 5! Came to Zo for a date night with my girlfriend on a Friday night when we just didn't feel like cooking. We went around 7:30 PM on a Friday night expecting a wait but were lucky to get seated immediately (the place was still pretty busy). This place is casual sit-down with a takeout option. The rotating pillars of gyro meat in the kitchen make it seem like one of those gyros places but then the front of the house is a casual sit-down dining area. We were dining in and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service, both the polite and attentive waitress and the speed at which the food came. FOOD: We ordered the Spinach and Artichoke dip to share and then I had the Lamb Chili and the Original Pork Gyro for dinner. I would recommend all 3 dishes and wish I could have gotten more (but I was full!). The Spinach and Artichoke dip was very tasty and came with this delicious warm pita that I started eating alone once we ran out of the dip (my only wish is that there was more dip!). The Lamb Chili was perfectly spiced and warming on a cold evening in December. Lastly, the Gyros is very large and stuffed with veggies and tzatziki, in addition to tons of pork. Perhaps the best thing we had was the side of fries. They were thick-cut but crispy on the outside but warm and potatoey on the inside. Perfect fries! Next time we come back, I would like to try the Meze!

First time eating at Zo in assembly and it was tasteful. Entries are pricer than I would expect but quality of food was good. We got the charcoaled octopus appetiser which was exceptional and seasoned well with the olive oil. It had a solid crunchy outer-ness with tender insides. Then our mix grille had a variety meat selection via lamb chops, pork sausages and skewers. The flavour could have been a little better on the lamb chops but it was cooked to our right temperature and the fries that came with the entre were flavourful and crunchy. The pita bread with tzatziki sauce was done correctly with their taste. In addition, it was a good way to contrast the entre. Overall great atmosphere in the restaurant today with good music playing in the background. It wasn’t too loud that you have to scream to talk across the table to who ever is sitting next to you. I will definitely come back to continue to try the remainder of the menu.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could, I absolutely love it here! The food is always exceptional. I have never even had an “okay” meal here it is always delicious. The service is spot on, and the takeout is fast and precise. I have never had any issues. I love the Greek salad, kale salad and of course the original gyro. The Tirokafteri dip served with warm pita is a must try and if you have a sweeter tooth the caramelized fig and goat cheese dip topped with toasted almonds is for you! They always have a seasonal sangria offering which is my go-to beverage. It is cute and cozy inside, and the music is always bumping, a fun vibe! Zo Greek is located next to Lucky Strike in Assembly Row if you are not familiar with the area so you might miss it. Highly recommend dropping in if you are in the area!

Good service and staff. The inside is a bit cramped and too loud for my taste as an autistic person, but it was manageable. The food was also expensive for what it was, which is to be expected from Assembly Row. The full size fries were large, the tomato and cucumber salad was a bit simple for the price, and the beef kebab was tasty but small for 19 dollars, although I appreciate the tzaziki and bread included. I'd appreciate some type of labeling on vegetarian, vegan, or gluten insensitivity friendly foods (I know there's more restrictions on Gluten Free Though)
