On may 19th me And a couple of friends came shopping for a trip ... I felt weird while we were shopping we were followed throughout the store ,we were also asked over ten times do we need help... I felt as if we didn’t belong in the store ... we still shopped anyways despite the fact we felt uncomfortable... on our way up to the register I was asked if I need a shopping tote to hold the items that I was purchasing...clearly they should of offered it when I walked in ... That was another red flag ... we paid for our stuff ,as we turned around from the register the alarm at the door was sounding off ... we stopped before we reached out the door.. as we stopped their was a man that walked out , their response was that he will be back to take of the beepers ... my reaction was wow ... so as we were checking our own bags to make sure they removed the beepers we were surrounded by the whole recovery team... I was devastated... asking why were are being embarrassed like this ... as they are making a big show for all the shoppers entering the store ... so as this one guy comes in he stated , wow on the grand opening already caught thieves... wow now I’m embarrassed... I’m not a thief I’m a professional I stated ... this is not fair ... so the employees grabbed our bag several times checking for beepers , also checking the receipt to make sure everything in our bag was paid for .. so I asked for the manager ... the manager came out and asked why are we making a scene when clearly his team members were making the scene ... so then he joins them while I’m talking to him I wasn’t pleased by how he was talking to us ... I stated I will never shop here ever agian his response was good ... not how can I make your next shopping experience better ... I left the store and called corporate... when I talked to them I was informed that he would be going to the store to retrain the whole store cause they were improperly trained ...
I will never shop or buy polo ever agian !!! ...
Read moreMy husband & I had the worst experience in the store, we were visiting Boston & decided to go in to look for some shirts since it was the only store open late on a holiday. This Hispanic employee started talking to us in Spanish while we were in the fitting room trying our shirts on. Please don't steal the clothes, they are a lot of police & securities outside. At the time when he said that, i didn't have a shirt on. My husband & I looked at each other's all confused because we didn't know he was talking to us. My husband asked him, "Who are you talking to? He answered I'm talking to you guys." I tell him we are not stealing. He kept saying yes, he was making false claims. I feel disappointed & disgusting my own raise was treating us bad & he didn't have any ethics on how to treat customers. He didn't even have the audacity to say sorry to us even though my husband kept trying to explain to him we were not stealing, he also said call the security & police if you want. The only thing the Hispanic employee said was don't talk to me & he kept walking away. At times, I was just feeling agitated & wanted to pay & leave the store as soon as possible. The next day, I went to exchange a shirt for another one & talk to a manager about the situation. The manager was very nice, she understood the whole situation. She actually apologized. While I was talking to her, an employee named Isaac, which I'm not sure if that's the Hispanic employee name, called the store to talk to the manager & asked her if I was in the store talking to her about the situation. I think that if he had the guts to call her to find out if I was there talking to her about the whole situation, he would've had the guts to come over the store & apologize or talk to me...
Read moreOn March 19th 2018 I went shopping at the new polo store in assembly square with a couple of friends and bought a few items. Upon exiting the store I noticed the alarm going off with no one near the doorway so I kindly ask the woman who help me with my purchases to check my items for any alarms cause I was going on vacation and I don't need to have any alarms on my clothes. As she checked my bag we was suddenly surrounded by 6 to 8 employees. As she handed me my bag back the lost prevention guy comes dashing from the back snatches my bag from across the table of clothes, checks the bag and the receipt and gives my bag to the girl. I ask for my bag cause checked the receipt twice. I was denied my bag. Then they check it again for the third time as a gentleman is walking saying second day open and they already caught somebody stealing. Now I'm pist and the manager said we're making a seen like we made the seen. Your employees already made a seen. When we told them we were treated disrespectfuly and I should never shop here again the manager said GOOD. I don't think I will ever shop polo again after that! And I ask for my own bag to be checked!...
