Capo Isetta — Restaurant in Sonoma

I wish there were better words than “amazing”. Our first night in Sonoma, we found our way into Capo Isetta (thank you so much to Mary, the concierge at The Lodge Sonoma, for the recommendation!).

The rest is absolute history. The experience we had with Bill, Nolan, Claire and Jake were just superb. Bill (the owner) took so much time out of his unbelievably busy schedule to make us feel like we were literally a part of his family. His warmth and caring along with the culture of family that Nolan, Claire and Jake exude made Capo Isetta a must do during our trip again.

When (not if!) we return to Sonoma, Capo Isetta will be on our list for each night after dinner. The wine is outstanding (we bought a lot!) and the company you keep there is indescribably better.

Our group of four friends stopped by Capo Isetta on a Sunday evening during a girls’ weekend, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! Despite not having reservations, we were warmly welcomed and decided to do a wine tasting, which was absolutely delicious.

The atmosphere was fun and lively, and the service was outstanding. We ended up staying way longer than we expected because we were having such a great time. One of the best parts of the experience was the incredible staff, especially Jake. He went above and beyond to make our visit memorable, taking the time to chat with us, making us laugh, and ensuring we had an amazing time.

Capo Isetta is a must-visit if you’re looking for fantastic wine, a great vibe, and exceptional hospitality....

Our stay in Sonoma for two days was unexpectedly delightful, thanks to our visit to Capo Isetta. Initially, we had modest expectations, but our encounter there was truly heartwarming and authentic.

The highlight of our visit was the engaging and sincere story shared by the niece of the owner, which added a personal touch to our experience. Furthermore, we were thrilled when Bill joined us and provided fascinating stories and background information about the history. This enriching experience was undoubtedly one of the most memorable moments of our three-week trip in the US.
