Awesome baked goods. A friend who visited the area would bring back treats to Connecticut - the olive bread was always a favorite. When we found ourselves in the area one weekend for a family reunion, we HAD to stop in. It's a wonderful little storefront, with more choices than you might expect. We got breads - olive and cheese with pepperoni, focaccia, and a couple of sweet rolls. Everything was delicious and our local family was 'converted' and will be stopping by. We love Bakers on Broad! Their pastries are fantastic, their bread is fresh and delicious, and the people are always friendly. What more could you ask for? I especially appreciate that they have day-old bread/pastries on the counter each Saturday we are able to go, so we're usually able to get the wheat sourdough they make on Fridays. Make sure to check out their website/Facebook page so you know when they're baking each type of bread and order early if you need to! They usually sell out of certain types of pastries by 10 am on Saturdays....

Yes! Yes! Yes! New to the area and finding this place is a huge bonus! Im a bread guy, so for me this is fantastic! I came early and got the go to italian bread. Asked the nice lady to slice it and she told me she couldn't because it was to fresh. Handed it to me and it was still warm! I was filled with joy but kept my composure. Lol.
