The people running this place seem like nice Chinese people. But yet it's a really bad idea to buy a soda here because you don't get a refill and it comes in a can and it's as expensive as buying like a couple 2 liters. The food is decent they have their tasty ones and pay ones. I haven't had everything so I can't say what the bad ones exactly would be. But definitely it doesn't come anywhere close to even half the Chinese restaurants I've been to to say how good they are for their food and prices. But this is your average prices for most Chinese restaurants. This place seems to be a little generous with how much rice they give you than most others. Over all the other restaurants around for what they could give me in a meal for that kind of price and certain qualities, I think I would only visit here again if I had to be in this area and it was the only Chinese restaurant I can make it to in time if I want a Chinese food. But if I had time to travel then I would definitely go to a different Chinese restaurant I know that can do a better job for the same price. So your experience here should not be awful or discourage you to come here again so much but you can definitely find a better place to eat Chinese food that's not too far away...
Read moreOrdered with a friend, and wow. You know that 79 cent beef in the can from Wal-Mart, the meat tasted like that and the sauce was that can meat broth with a little soy. The fried rice was just over cooked and under cooked don't ask me how they did this, some parts were burnt and others weren't cooked all the way it was just brown rice sold as fried rice. The shrimp was cocktail shrimp warmed up in the nasty broth, partially cold and warm. The veggies were under cooked and partially raw making awkward flavoring. My friends chicken was poorly coated, undercooked, soaked heavily in oil and tasted of nothing, but breading. Wasn't even sure chicken was in it, till you took off the 79 layers of breading. Over all horrible food...
Read moreShort Stakk has no idea what he/she is talking about, as the food here is great. This is a mom and pop (literally) Chinese restaurant that will actually cook to order BEYOND the bland "american" chinese food that consumers like Short Stakk think is chinese food. The owner actually makes excellent "home made" from scratch dumplings that can be pan fried or steamed and sells out of them regularly. They also will make things like mapo tofu that is closer to the way it would be cooked traditionally. The style of cooking is more Szechaun and Cantonese from what I can tell so it's always fresher ingredients than what I find at the Buffet. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Great Food, Great...
