AVOID THIS CHIKFILABe sure to read my multiple updates below.
I have done delivery for three years across three states. I've been to hundreds of Chick-fil-A's. The thing I like picking up from Chick-fil-A it's always the same experience. Limited wait, if any, you are greeted, checked on, etc. not this place. It doesn't matter if the parking lot is empty, or full. You're going to wait, and you're going to wait a confusingly long amount time. You're going to see people come in and come out with their orders they placed after you've been there sitting. You're also going to be extremely confused because no one is going to check on you. Nobody's going to acknowledge you when you walk in, they're going to let you sit there, etc. They're not mean people. I legitimately think that they don't realize that they're doing such a horrible job when compared to the bar of standard Chick-fil-A. They seem very content, not stressed, and they still seem to move around like they think they're operating a normal Chick-fil-A. Who is the manager of this place? Who is the franchise owner? I would love to compare their other restaurants because I am just absolutely blown away by this Chick-fil-A here and it would be worth going just to satisfy my curiosity about this enigma of the southern United States here in Spartanburg.
Update: today is 12/04/24 And my mom just waited nearly 20 minutes with two people in line in front of her because nobody else would get on the any of the other registers despite wandering around. I think the location has figured out if they hold up the orders they don't have to work so hard in the back. They're pulling a Wendy's classic (Wendy's is infamous for doing this). This is the only Chick-fil-A I have seen do it so this is me reaching out to the franchise owner. Fix it. I will keep updating this indefinitely until you do. Been here 40 minutes now and and the lady is wandering around asking everyone what's their food or not. What are these table signs for? Delaney just admitted she doesn't know what the table signs are for and didn't realize you had to color coordinate. This is the most dysfunctional restaurant I may have seen in general in my life. Who is managing this place?! Then, I went to the bathroom and an employee walked out of the bathroom stall that I went into. There was fresh urine left by this employee all over the toilet seat lid. Absolutely disgusting and I had to report this to management. Of course he's still there working doing God knows what to the food.
Update: 1/2/25 - Here I am with nobody in line (at all) having to wait 15+ minutes for an order that was already placed well before I got here. No line, yet no order. I have been coming on here and posting for a couple of months now and there has been absolutely no improvement in this place. The owner obviously could care less if customers are served promptly and are happy. Every time I come here everyone standing here shaking their heads asking why is this the only Chick-fil-A you've ever been to like this. Once again There are people wandering around looking around as if they don't have something to do yet there's plenty of things to do like make this order. I included a picture of how busy it was. Then, as I'm leaving, I hear the lady up front congratulating everyone on getting this order out. Considering this order was placed 15 minutes before I got here it took a total of 30 minutes to make this order with nobody in line. What is she congratulating?
1/14/25 - I even arrived way later than I was supposed to for this order. I walk up, no order of course. Me and the DoorDash driver to the left of me start talking about how this is the slowest Chick-fil-A that has ever existed. I have now been here 10 minutes, beyond already being late, and DoorDash drivers have come and gone and they have not even started making my order when I checked on it. How does corporate see the metrics on this place and allow it to stay...
Read moreI decided to post this review here as well because I believe it may be helpful for other candidates applying for the same role and for customers who value how a company treats people.
I recently applied for a Director of Operations position for the Chick-Fil-A locations in Boiling Springs and Spartanburg (Asheville Hwy.), SC, and my experience with the hiring process was disappointing. After an initial Zoom interview, I was asked for references before being offered an in-person interview, which I found unusual. I requested that they wait to interview my reference until after we had met in person, but they declined, insisting on interviewing a reference upfront. They conducted the reference interview before even meeting me, and shortly after, I was informed that I would not be moving forward in the process. This made the experience feel impersonal and left me feeling like I wasn’t being treated fairly.
The position had been posted and reposted for nearly 90 days, which made me question whether the franchise was genuinely interested in filling the role. The lack of transparency and reluctance to move forward with an in-person meeting added to my doubts. Overall, it seemed disorganized and gave the impression that I was being considered as a backup option rather than a serious candidate.
As someone who has generally had good experiences as a customer at Chick-Fil-A, this was particularly disappointing. This experience with the Spartanburg (Asheville Hwy.) and Boiling Springs franchisees has made me reconsider my support. A company’s hiring process reflects its values, and this experience has left me with a negative impression. I hope they can improve their hiring practices, as they risk losing not just potential employees but loyal...
Read moreI do not like leaving negative reviews, there is enough negativity in the world already. But this has to be said, as i know this is not the way Chick-Fil-A wants to be known for.
This has to be one of the worst experiences i have ever had at a Chick-Fil-A, the only other one being in the Atlanta airport. The food is Chick-Fil-A.. It is Jesus's chicken so it is amazing as always. But this location is by far the worst service i have ever experienced at a full service Chick-Fil-A. From the east to west coast.
The team at Ashville Hwy, needs to go to the Duncan location and see how a Chick-fil-A and its team act and treat their customers, and service. A secret customer shall we say.
The workers and managers at Ashville Hwy never offered to help the young lady taking orders. Other than the two food runners, everyone stayed behind the counter, would turn and look at the line waiting to order and stand there and talk to one another. It took over 20mins to just place my order. And there were only 4 people in line inside, including myself. The folks behind me and I spoke and could not get over how only one person was taking dine in orders and there was multiple people doing the drive thru and just standing.
I apologies to leave this negative review, i really do. It is just disappointing to know this is one of my hometown Chick-Fil-A and that has this...
