The manager Seth and the owner are wonderful! They go above & beyond to make you happy! For the past several years I've ordered cakes for my family and the past couple of years the cakes have gotten so much better. Seth listens to details and requests & tries his best to make you happy! Most of the times I order cakes, I order between 2-4 cakes each time because I celebrate multiple birthdays at once. The last few months I've ordered around 7 cakes since January and it's only gotten better. My January birthday I held for my daughter was great and dairy Queen made sure to satisfy my daughter with her fav cotton candy ice cream which is usually seasonal and the manager only had cotton candy syrup but cause being out of season not the candy pieces so he concocted a cotton candy ice cream that everyone loved & I especially, like it better than the original!! Every request I made for the other 6 cakes were hands down what my children and friends asked for and Seth decorated them to look like a true picture of the dairy Queen cakes are advertised as! I've included pictures just to show you! By now I've probably become known as the cake lady at our local dairy Queen! They call me with questions as well to make sure we get what we want! I recommend Dairy Queen and it's owners to anyone! Several years ago I'd have to say they lost their touch with food and service but since these owner's I've been very satisfied! One thing I do miss is this particular store doesn't put images on the cakes anymore so the images on my post are made by me but kudos to the Queen for the elegant border icing and swirls! Very satisfied!! Thanks as always! I will continue to get my cakes from y'all! It's another great year of cakes again from dairy Queen in greenwood SC! They go above and beyond to satisfy their customers!! Thanks for the great ice cream cakes y'all made to my specifications!! Y'all are very caring and...
Read moreWe go to Dairy Queen all tthe time. Even though I think the food is average. I have akways loved the ice cream. Today we get ice creams . My 3 year old grandchild and was eating a small vanilla cone. In the middle was something red that looked like a stick. I take it inside to show them.. I took it inside to show it to them. Everyone acted like I was crazy i thought it could possibly be a cherry stem. They let me know they havent used cherries in 2 years which made t worse because now I see this has to be plastic. I asked to see the owner. Told the story to a young guy. He finally said he could give me a small cup . I didnt t want a small cup of ice cream . I just wanted them to be aware in case another person got this .Maybe it came from the Distributor that way because they showed me plastic bags of ice cream inside the machines. They said they would have seen it. Well i t was in the center how could they have? I'm done with them. There is not a great place to get an ice cream in Greenwood and Brusters...
Read moreThe Blizzards have stopped being mixed all the way. Half of the cup is plain vanilla soft serve and they NEVER serve them upside down like they're supposed to anymore. I mean I understood when the temperature was over 100 degrees but it's barely 40 or 50 out now, there's no excuse not to go back to proving they are as thick as advertised. I mean my last one had a lid on it and the was a message served upside down or it's free, that was on the 8th on the drive-thru's signage and I still had to pay for both Blizzards.
I tried calling the store and was told no one by the name of Sam, within a few minutes of receiving your reply.
Update - we tried the establishment again and they were fast efficient and the blizzard my husband ordered was the best he's...
