Great Wall — Restaurant in South Carolina

Unfortunately I have no pictures. I was hangry when we arrived and only focused on stuffing my face. We had just left the Augusta Mall heading to a buffet about 8 miles away when I was sitting at the red light and spotted this place across the street. Man it was a great find! It's a big place,lots of food options. Noodle bar, Habachi Bar, and Sushi Bar towards the back. I eat Sushi and make sure to eat enough that I can justify going to a buffet, and it was fresh and delicious. I scammed the place and there are plenty of American food options, if you have little ones or really picky eaters . Desert selection was large. I even spotted small Octopus, I mean small, like the whole thing , tentacles and all 🤢 I'm not trying it but if it's your thing then you're in luck. The waitress was great, drinks stayed full the entire time. We were there about 2:00 and it was $10.99 a person and the drink is NOT included in the price. The only thing I can say about this place is that it's consistent. Unfortunately it's consistent in a negative way when you're there eating at the establishment. When you get there there's not very many people there seemingly doesn't matter what day or what time. Since it's not crowded there's no need to continually refill the food bar. So what they do is they have a very tiny bit of each dish in each location. And there since until someone eats it. I got the feeling that it actually bothered the proprietor to see people gazing at these tiny portions that are in these containers half of which they weren't interested in. Now when you go and get take out that's a different story it's always hot and fresh and more than adequate portions. It's a fine line between being satisfied and wondering if you're going to eat what you want to eat well dining in. I recommend takeout. I would give it no stars but the people were so nice and seemed like they were truly trying to keep their business open. I really support things like that. But the food they were putting out was not fresh and there was nothing really to eat. Me and other customers were laughing about it but chose to stay and give it a chance anyways went around lunch time . Hot tea wasn’t too great either. I truly think they would do better if they shut down for a week cleaned up, changed up and put out fresh food and then re-open.
