Read moreHONESTLY OUR MEAL WAS AWFUL, Just AWFUL! We had heard great things about Freddy a new restaurant in Rock Hill so today we stopped by to check it out. But since we had our dog with us, we went through the drive-thru. We wanted to split our meal so we ordered a single cheese burger which included a hot dog and a drink. We asked for cheese, cold slaw, onions, and ketchup on the side. Then i asked if they could add a little chili to both. BIG MISTAKE! Then we waited, and waited, and waited at the window. (they don't cook the food until your order. Too bad for those behind us. Finally the food came and we dove home expecting a nice meal which we split. The burger/hotdog/drink combo was supposed to cost 8.95, Out total was $11.54 because they charged 80 cents for the chili, 60 cents for a slice american cheeze... REALLY one slice? So when we get home we open the package and apparently they they thought that all we really wanted was chili because both the burger and the hotdog were swimming in CHILI. The single burger apparently means a 1/8" inch thick patty which was cooked to a crisp and the chili so overwhelmed the taste of everything including the chili soaked bun that we had to eat it with a fork. The hotdog was even worse, swimming in Chili, i was really hoping for a cold slaw dog but found only the slightest trace of cole slaw, not even 1/2 a teaspoon, and none on our burger, but plenty of chili which didn't even taste good!. The hotdog itself was tough and rubbery, so I finally gave up and gave my half of the meal to our dog. My recommendation would be 1. speed up the wait time 2. Put liquid items my chili in its own container on the SIDE. 3. Find a better recipe for the chili 4. A single burger should be at least as thick as a single at Wendys 5. Don't over cook the meat or dogs 6. Get reasonable with your prices. I cheese burger should at least include the cheese. 7. Buy Nathans hot dogs because they always taste good and 8 Give your customers refunds when they have a awful experience like this one. Next time, go to Wendy's. You'll get a great meal at...
My husband and I went through the drive-through yesterday December 20th. After we completed our Christmas shopping, I was really in the mood for a chocolate milkshake and figured we would give Freddy’s a try for the first time! We live 45 minutes away, in a town that does not have many ice cream options and we’re really looking forward to this treat! We went through the drive-through and ordered a chocolate milkshake and a strawberry milkshake. The drive-through moved pretty quickly and we got our shakes. However, I noticed that mine was really thick, so much so that you could hold it upside down and nothing would move and then after I tasted it I felt sure that it was nothing but pure chocolate ice cream. So, we went back through the drive-through for a second time. We explained that we had ordered a milkshake and thought that we had just got pure ice cream and the lady told us he to pull around to the window. This time the drive-through was not moving anywhere near as quickly. When we got to the window she asked us what was wrong with our “concrete.” We explained that it wasn’t supposed to be a concrete, that it was supposed to be a chocolate milkshake and she proceeded to tell us that they were currently out of milk and they had puréed the ice cream as thin as they possibly could. She went on to explain that they had prepared a second one for us and again had puréed it as thin as possible and we were more than welcome to have it. Needless to say, this was very disappointing because all I wanted was a chocolate milkshake! And it would have been nice if they would have explained that they were out of milk when we initially ordered our very first “milkshake.” It would’ve also been nice had they offered to refund the order, because it was not what I was expecting or what I had ordered and both of them ended up being thrown away. Well my husband’s milkshake was much thinner and resembled more of a milkshake, this information also told us that his wasn’t quite a “milkshake“ either. Communication is key and there was a lack of...
Read moreFirst time me & friends ever dined at Freddys...friendly personnel that greeted & served you with a smile. They make great suggestions although Chicago hotdog purchased left allot to be desired The only reason I gave them one less star] But the hot dog wasnt horrible. just ok. . I cant speak for the other food my friends ordered . But they seemed to thoroughly enjoy the steak, cheese fries, chicken tenders, etc. Once you order, you take a template number, they let you know when food is up so its hot . All food was hot & fresh. If you inform staff you are out of a resource like lemons, straws, etc.. they get it for you quickly & provide extra. To keep place clean you empty your own trays which makes sense as no human is brought up by wolves or has mobile maid service that accompanies them.. So each person should be accountable to contribute toward a clean eating space. Overall pretty clean too & did not smell greasy or like food was burning so you'd want to keep an eye on all exits to flee for your life or at least grab a fire extinguisher for safety sake. Prices were ok. I would dine there again...
