This has to top any negative visit to a restaurant I can recall in my many years of dining out. I started having a large craving for a good steak after running errands all day. I am from Louisiana, and we Cajuns take our food very seriously. I would take poor service as long as the food is exceptional, BUT this place won the gold medal in most horrible dining experience overall. On 04/27/24 around 16:00, we arrived at this steak house, and we're told there was a 20 min wait for a party of 2. OK, that's acceptable as I see the patrons standing outside and also waiting. Surprisingly, it didn't take that long, and the hostess walked my wife and I to our table. That is the ONLY positive thing I could say about the entire visit. We were seated at 16:15 and waited. I observed this one waitress socializing with the one 3 top table for an abnormal amount of time as they were very busy. I was hoping she wasn't our server who had us sitting there for approximately 15 to 18 minutes before even acknowledging our presence. As luck would have it, she was ours. She finally came to our table and immediately asked if we knew what we wanted. My reply was, "Yes, something to drink." Second thought since we had enough time to memorize the menu and never know when she will break herself away from the 3 top she had an addiction for, my wife placed her order, and so did I. Our drinks came out pretty fast, followed by our salads, BUT then she went back to her favorite table and laughed and joked with these people for a very long time. As we watched parties, who were seated well after us, get their entrees, finish them and pay the checks, and walk out as she blatantly ignored her other tables. I finally had enough of watching this, rised from my seat, walked to the bar, and asked to speak to the manager. It's such a weird coincidence that a man carrying our steaks walked to our table. I asked if he was the manager. He said his name was Scott and he was the manager. Much to my surprise, he was well aware of why I was so upset. By the looks of the steaks and potatoes that have been drying under some heat light. The gravy covering the potatoes started to harden up. Scott tried telling me that the plates just came out. I actually started to feel sorry for this man as he was shaking while trying to give absured reasons as to why this took so long. I pointed out that the waitress was still at her most valued table the entire time he was at ours. He started with he will comp our meals, but I was so angry I refused to even accept free food. My wife vetoed that decision knowing how late it was, and once I calmed down, I would go back to my hunger stage. My wife asked for to go boxes, and Scott left and brought them back. STILL that waitress never left that table. Looking at other tables in her section, all I was seeing was empty sald plates. Then the waitress walked over to our table and said, "I wish I knew you were in a rush." Trying to hold back my Cajun temper all I could get out is, "we had finished our salads an hour ago." The food might have been decent if brought to us right away, but Waffle House food has served better steaks. I know Scott will not have the spine to do what is needed and take this young lady out of any job that requires customer service. Maybe retail might be her calling, but the food service industry is an epic fail for her. I am sure there are cameras in this restaurant. Hopefully, the management will see there is no exaggeration in...
Read moreAs someone from England, here as part of my last couple days on a trip to visit friends for their wedding, I was extremely disappointed. Lets start at the beginning, shall we?
We had a large group - an after wedding party. 21 or 22. First we were told we couldn't make a reservation because it was the weekend. When asked if we could split the table into two, we were told it will be done and all the party would be together albeit different tables. Perfect!
We sat at our table for 10, and there were 16 chairs there - one table in our area was full of plates and glasses, another table was finishing up. Perfect! The other table will come up and be there soon.
No. We were not seated together. At all. We weren't even in the same area of the restaurant. The other 12 people were sat on two circle tables pushed together, cramped as hell. What the crud?
Secondly, why the hell don't you do bottles of water? I don't drink the water from taps / faucets because I am not from this country, and it is commonly known you don't drink the tap water in other countries in case the difference in minerals upset your stomach. So I couldn't even have a complimentary water. Literally what?
Let's cut to the food. Appetisers... aren't they supposed to come before the entrée? Not after, surely... not at Logans! Everyone on the table got their salad before their entrée, I sat waiting for mine. Then the steak came out, and I advised I was waiting for my salad still.
But 4 of the steaks were WRONG.
If we order a rare or medium rare steak, we expect blood and pink - not well done with no pink and a side of attitude.
To receive attitude from the assistant manager because our food wasn't correct, not once, but TWICE, was disgusting. It was not our fault that the kitchen couldn't get 'three minutes either side and sear the edges' right, two times over...
Then for the general manager to claim the problems were caused by us. No, they were caused by the kitchen and attitude of your members of staff.
I came here 7 years ago, and it was my first experience of Logans - which was at the end of a long day travelling across the ocean, so maybe that was why I didn't realise how bad it was.
Or your place has just gone down the toilet.
Marcus Carter, the server, was fantastic taking a large group! Hopefully his cash tip shows our...
Read moreFirst time eating here and it won't be my last. The atmosphere was great for a Sunday, where you can eat and watch the game and chill by the fireplace. The service was Amazing (⭐×10= Kaitlyn), being there for the first time I didn't know what to get that was really good so even though everything was on the menu our server (Kaitlyn) explained to us what was in the meals and what she thought would be a good choice for us based on the things we liked to eat. Thanks Kaitlyn girl!!! Now the food. Drum roll 🥁. Was Delicious 😋. Those hot rolls should be a food group on its own, but add that cinnamon butter to it and you have a bomb 💣 of deliciousness in your mouth, thanks to our server we didn't run out at our table being that we were eating them like it was what we ordered 😂, they were just that good. Ok I'll get off the rolls now and on to what we ordered 😂 I ordered a steak salad which was delicious and a loaded baked potato. Listen steak is one of my favorite meats and I take it medium-well, and those cooks THEY DID THAT!!🤤 it was (✔️)flavorful, (✔️)juicy, and (✔️)cooked to perfection. I want to say Thank You to the Cooks in that kitchen for preparing such a Delicious and flavorful meal. (⭐×20= Logan's Cooks). I brought my leftovers home and everyone of my boys and husband was taking bites of my food🙎🏾I had to leave my own dinning room to eat in peace. So next time they'll have to come with me to get their own. Again Thank You to the Cooks Outstanding food. Oh and I know you guys are gonna need days off but please don't be off the next time I come back there😂😂😂. From the bar I had a Perfect Margarita, it was on point!!! Margaritas are my favorite alcohol beverage and now you know why, delicious. I was like T-Pain "Bartenderrr." 😂Thank You Overall this is a awesome...
