Prior to moving to South Carolina, I had been living in Japan for over 5 years, and missed American Asian food. Funny right? This was the first time we have eaten American Asian food since we moved back here. They did not disappoint. They have a salad bar if you want salad. When I eat too much I tend to get very sick, and this is a buffet…so I’m sure it’s common for people to feel very tired afterwards. I took some photos and sent them to our kids who are out of state currently, and they’re excited. It reminds them of home in Okinawa, Japan. Everything from the gold Foo dogs outside to the decor inside, to the aquarium. One place in Japan that we went to eat, had a similar vibe to it, but was seaside and had an outdoor patio you could eat at. (The restaurant beside Kadena Marina in Okinawa, Japan.) Two of my children were born in Japan and all three were raised there, and they miss it so much. We all miss it. It was very hard to find American Asian food in Japan, because everything is so authentic. Now we are back in the states and miss the authentic Japanese food. 😂 They have a lot of different foods our picky kids will eat, so I’m excited to take them here. The restaurant itself is huge, but the buffet is not as big as the other one we went to in Greensboro, North Carolina. (I think it’s called Hibachi Grill Buffet and it’s near Four Seasons Mall.) Overall, I enjoyed the food and we will definitely be coming back. They have hot wings, carrot cake, chocolate cake, ice cream, the infamous Chinese buffet donuts, some delicious yeast rolls with the honey butter spread. They have boiled crab, low mein, sesame chicken etc. We went during dinner time and got sweet tea. I’ll be getting water next time, my body isn’t used to the sugar or the caffeine. I added a photo of our receipt from dinner on a Thursday night because I know I’m always watching reviews for prices. It was $13.50 per person, but I know places are struggling and tend to raise their prices. But for a buffet, this isn’t a bad price. We paid more per person at restaurants in Japan, so we have no complaints about prices in the states. Everything here is far more cheaper. 🙂 I’ll try to take more photos when they are less busy. I didn’t want to get other people in the shots, but the restaurant is way bigger than the photos suggest. Update: took the kids a few times and they loved it! They’ve even asked to go back. Also, Please don’t forget to tip your servers! You can tip them when you are paying your bill.

Plenty of variety, mongolian bar cook to order. Sushi, fruits, salad, american and Chinese and you can take an ice cream cone out the door. Visiting for 20+years. Sundays can be crowded. They require mask to enter and give gloves to use when dipping and sanitizer is available. Due to one of the waitresses nasty attitudes over my autistic 4 year old niece who didn't eat more than 4 pepperoni slices, I recommend stay away from her serving you. She is the older waitress with shoulder length hair, she was extremely rude and was disrespectfully talking trash in front other customers, they may have lost a lot of long time loyal customers. Sorry I had to drop this negative feedback but it was just wrong!

Only true Chinese Buffet I’ve found in this area. Very good food selection as far as appetizers and entree’s. Not too many dessert selections. The place was very clean and the staff was friendly. It even included a Hibachi area if that’s more your speed. We would come back here for sure, especially for the prices. For 2 people at the all you can eat buffet it was only $35. Not too shabby. It has pretty much every kind of basic Chinese food you could want, plus a few American classics. I would recommended the bourbon chicken, which was very good. And something to improve on would be the cheese wontons…kinda weak. But again, overall a good experience for as much food as you can eat!

I don't even want to give this place a one star. We arrived around 6pm on Sunday and didnt eat a thing all day so we could fill up at the buffet . The place was busy wich is usually a good sign the food is going to be good. We sat down got our drinks from pitchers being carted around and all our drinks were flat. We didnt let that stop us from jumping up and loading our plates down for the first round.

Fried rice had a strange taste and dry, Couldn't eat it. The sesame Chicken was very dry inside and hard to chew i tried to take a bite of it off my fork as it was a large piece and had to take the fork out and pull it with my fingers, couldnt eat it. The teriyaki chicken was also overcooked and over seasoned too much salt, Couldn't eat it. The beef, onions, bell pepper dish the steak was so chewy i couldnt even swallow it had to spit it out, couldnt eat it. Got around to the sweet and sour chicken thinking how and the heck could they screw that up. Well they did overcooked and underdone at the same time. Chicken was overcooked dry hard to bite and the batter was not fully done between the chicken and the outer crust.

On the second plate went back to some of the dishes prior and thought maybe i just got some bad pieces. So i dug around finding the freshest looking ones. Same results as the first.

Third plate i got the ribs covered in that red sauce. That was the only meat that was done properly and not overcooked. But i could only eat 2 before the sweetness from the sauce was too much. The egg roll was cooked properly but the inside left much more to be desired. The spring roll needed to be cooked longer.

Fourth plate was deserts i got Ice Cream, Jello, Cantelope and what i thought was Cheesecake. The Jello was your normal hospital jello. The cheesecake fooled me it, was 1/8th inch layer at the top of cheesecake and the bottom 7/8ths was your standard vinilla cake. The ice cream was okay but nothing to write home about. The centelope was probably the only thing that went in my stomach that wasn't going to make me sick on my drive home to the toilet.

I was with my 2 nieces and daughter. Both my nieces saved up did yard work with their nana to be able to go out to eat. And they were terribly upset disappointed and left hungry as we all had the same feelings and were unable to eat our food.

I got home fired up the blackstone we made some farm fresh eggs on the flat top and some buttered toast to settle our bubbling stomach's. And that simple 2 egg 2 toast meal felt like we were just rescued from hell and was now eating in heaven.

Don't eat here go grab some takeout at literally any of the other chinese take out spots for half price. Sit at a park in your house or just stand up and...
