McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in South Carolina

I placed an order over the phone for pickup and after telling the girl I wanted a plain roast beef sandwich with extra mayo she read the order back to me saying just a roast beef with cheese and regular mayo and had to ask three more times if I wanted cheese or not before understanding I wanted a plain sandwich. Then she told me it would be 20 minutes. I was already on my way and got there within 5. The restaurant was empty bar maybe three customers who were already sitting down eating and my food had been ready for a couple minutes. Thank goodness I got there so early or my food would have been gross. When I checked the sandwich it looked like there was melted cheese on it and the four girls behind the counter looking at it couldn’t decide if it was cheese, mayo, or horseradish. I expect my servers to know what is on my food. Then I came to find out the sandwich was grilled which I knew nothing about or I wouldn’t have gotten it because I’ve never heard of a hot roast beef sandwich with warm mayo and did not like it at all. This place has offically become a scam..they cut the size of their sandwiches by like 40% and again they upped the price..these places have lost their minds, u cant just keep shrinkflating everything and increasing prices every couple months now. It was already way overpriced and now its just ridiculously ignortantly priced like people are rich. 15bux for a sandwich?!?, 8bux for a soup?!?..and then on top of that, all the containers are half full and dont have as much as they should cause their screwing everyone on portion size of everything now. Just crazy and my last visit ever. Thats why theres only a few customers per day and theyre not as busy as they definitely would be if they offered a good value....good value?!?what even is that anymore? If corporate isnt lining their pockets more and more year over year then, omg,the world would end...this has really gotten out of hand and you guys should completely be ashamed...

I ordered two savannah chopped salads; one with no cheese and another with Colby jack substitute since neither my wife nor I care for gorgonzola. Unfortunately, my wife's salad came with cheese, which we accepted even though we requested no cheese for her. When I entered the men's restroom to wash my hands before eating, I noticed a very strong foul stench; the ammonia smell in that room was unbearable even if you held your breath. When I returned to our table inside, there were a dozen gnats flying around our plates. We had enough and moved OUTSIDE where no gnats or flies would bother us. Floors inside the restaurant were stickier than laffy taffy. Salad looked fresh and tasted good, but the number of gnats inside leaves me to question if I should question it.... Staff was friendly and kind, but overall, I was disappointed with the dine...
