I used the app to place an order for my children. I arrived and input my parking number so that my food could be brought out of course, in the app it says I could wait about 5 minutes. A little over 10 minutes later, here came the food... Lukewarm french fries and the burgers were cold. You would think that after waiting 10 minutes or more that all of the food would come out extremely hot but that was not the case. I went back to the drive-thru pull around like they told me to and tell them that I needed a new order because it was cold. First I was met with huh? Then here come I'm assuming the manager with a horrible attitude that wanted the slip from out of my bag but didn't want the bag, I did not receive a receipt so I couldn't give her that so then she said I'll just pull it up. Okay that was fine and then she sent another employee and said oh she needs your bag of food?!? Didn't I just try to do that? After about 5 minutes then she comes back to the window and says can you pull forward? Really?? Didn't I just wait curbside and my food was cold so now I need to pull up and wait again? Yes your blocking the other customers. Excuse me! At that point I just told them to refund my money because seriously? Everyone in there had an attitude when I pulled back around to the drive-thru, and even the one employee tried to start arguing with me!...
Read moreSo the wait for drive thru was really bad 35+ minutes and minimal cars probably 10-15 total served. I was on break off clock from customer house (Myrtle beach Handyman Mr.G). Ended up clocked out for 1hr9mins. However the fact that they got the food pretty much perfect really kicked it up into the next level. Quarter pounder should always be the same it's so easy It should be fresh cooked like it's supposed to be and I know I work there for 2 years. Usually anymore it's terrible quarter pounders are not here it was fantastic. Fries also hot and maybe just about perfectly cooked. The quarter pounder of the proper amount of ketch of mustard pickle It was properly seasoned it came off the grill at the right time... Muah. When you get this food the way it's supposed to be like this it's scary good for cheap as it is especially the quarter pounder. This is probably the best McDonald's food I had in a couple of years. I know they don't have no help. For one thing the lobby interior dine-in is closed so I know there's no help. Also know why $10 an hour is impossible to live on or anything. Read moreThis is by far my favorite McDonald's ever. Listen folks, we live at the beach, and there is such thing as tourist season. This McDonald's is one of the few places on the island that is open late. It's going to be crowded sometimes, you're going to have to get over that. But this place is full of dedicated employees. I come here and embarrassing amount of times per month, probably more than is healthy for me, so I know what I'm talking about. I live right around the corner, and I know that they have amazing employee retention because I see the same workers and have for at least 2 years. There's a couple of managers that know how to hustle and I mean they get the job done, quickly, and they're competent. They don't forget stuff often. The fries are usually hot. They have even given me extra stuff because I had to wait, and I wasn't even mad about it, maybe that's why they're nice to me. Tell them they're doing a good job, be grateful, be kind.
