I went to Salsarita's at 1033 Roberts Branch Pkwy with two friends, and we arrived 25 minutes before closing time. As a retail veteran, I try hard not to be the guy that walks in at closing time and says, "I'm just looking." However, we were just getting our food to go anyway, and it's a fast food restaurant with almost 30 minutes before closing.
The manager had to unlock the door for us, and admonished us for coming so late, and made sure we knew it was only out of the kindness of her heart that we were going to be allowed to order. She then made it a point to tell us that the dining room was closed at this time. Keep in mind this is a half hour before the time set by the company as closing time.
We ordered our food, and they served it out of containers that were no longer on the warmers, and which had cooled off considerably. On top of that, my two friends began having stomach issues within minutes of eating their food.
The manager literally stood behind me at the soda fountain, and began shutting it down before I had even moved away to grab a lid and straw.
This was some of the worst customer service I've received in a long time. The manager made us feel completely unwelcome, despite having every reason to expect service at that time. I understand wanting to get off after a long day at work, but in the retail/restaurant business, that can't come at the expense of a professional attitude and (at the very least) mediocre customer care.

I signed up for the program a few days ago. The reward given indicated a free combo upgrade. So, I went yesterday on May 4th. I got to the register and I advised of the reward and showed it to the cashier. She proceeded to tell me that I needed the app. (I had clicked on the 'redeem now' from the website where I had logged in. I even went to my email and it indicated that I could just show the code for redemption. I'm still being told that I'd need the app and there was no way to put the code in. I announced my displeasure with having to get an app because nowhere did it say that I Had to use the app! I eventually downloaded it and expressed that the meal should be free since the company made it seem like redemption could take place without the app which is either a lie or the people there (including the manager) don't know how to do it. I mean, there has to be a generic way of input because what would they do if the app scanner goes down?? And yes, I've been to establishments where the app scanner was down and I was Still able to get my rewards and discounts. I haven't contacted their general manager...

Chipotle does not compare to Salasarita’s on customer service!!!!! I would say food too but I’m waiting for Salsarita’s to get some smoked brisket. lol!!! Just kidding the food is awesome!!! I actually worked for a doctor’s office some years ago who only ordered catered food from Salsarita’s, never Chipotle🤢 Even if I never go back to Salsarita’s,this establishment would be the absolute #1 spot I would go to for fast Mexican food. I just want to Thank this establishment for extending their kindness, helpful, positive attitude and atmosphere even during their busiest time of the day!!!! I’m so grateful and thankful to have walked in there right after my bad experience because I was immediately calmed by the great customer service here!!!! I see the difference in quality between these two establishments and I will forever choose Salsarita’s over Chipotle any day, anytime and definitely anywhere, because I have been to other locations and the experience has been always pleasant anywhere I’ve been.
