Alright y'all I hope you're ready for a doosie. I've eaten at many many restaurants all across the southeast and around the world but this has quite literally been the worst dining experience of my entire life. Starting off it wasn't so bad. The restaurant wasn't so busy, there were some people at the bar and about three other tables. I was with a party of nine so I anticipated slower service than normal and would be okay with this but the events that occurred tonight were just inexcusable. We were seated promptly and the menus were already at the table. The fan was on and I get cold pretty easily so I moved seats and a friend asked to have the fan turned off. This never happened. The prices were a little pricier than expected: 10-12 dollars a piece so I was hoping that the food would be worth the price. When making our drinks orders a friend of mine asked what beers they offered. The waitress Hannah was a pretty laid back, college aged looking girl. She responded with "I don't know, I only work weekends." This was pretty disappointing and doesn't even make sense. If you work here, regardless of hours, you should know what beers are offered. This is a college town. The clientele drink beer. On weekends. You should know this. She also did not know the prices of the beers we asked for by name and was guessing their prices. Whatever. We got Blue Moons. We were starving so we went ahead and ordered. Next drawback: out of fries. Okay, that's fine, we got tater tots to sub for the lack of French fries. We also ordered an portion of corn dogs because again, we were very hungry and just wanted something to satisfy that hunger. These corn dogs took a while. Over 45 minutes. If this was the only inconvenience it'd be alright but lots of things are starting to add up at this point. The manager did say they were on the house so at least there was some retribution. Before the corn dogs had arrived, my friend Adam politely asked the waitress and manager what was causing the delay. The waitress replied with something along the lines of "The cooks are just not all there. We're missing alot of things and they're kind of just putting things together." This was not exactly inspiring. The actual food arrives about 30 minutes after the corn dogs. The food was delivered by Hannah and the Manager. Hannah gave us the food in a normal fashion. The manager rudely plopped the food down on the table and stormed off. We gobble this food down. I got the burger. Honestly, it was pretty bad. The patty itself was bland and greasy. The bun crumbled in my hand halfway through eating it. Can't complain too much about the tater tots though. We finished our food and got the checks. The checks came back in a timely manner. We gave them Our cards without too much thought. After closer inspection we realised we had been charged for the corn dogs and charged for the tater tots that were subbing the fries that they had run out of to begin with. Obviously we complained. We were charged an extra 25 dollars that we should not have been charged for. Hannah is clearly upset and is complaining about the time it will take to fix the issue and essentially tried to talk us out of receiving our refund. She gets it done eventually and we leave. I tipped 2.85, but honestly shouldn't have tipped at all. The rest of my party did not tip. We leave the restaurant and walk towards our cars. Hannah flicks us off from the window and chases us down to cuss us out. We argue for some time about not tipping and how the manager sucks and Hannah was not particularly a novel waitress to begin with and eventually just walked away but not before she gets the final word of "f* you guys" out before going back to work. I don't understand how something like this can even happen. I'm astonished. The morning after around 6 AM I woke up feeling extremely nauseous. After a quick trip to the bathroom I threw up the entirety of my "dinner." Do yourself a favor and don't ever visit this...

Great Bites, Sticky Floors, and College Nostalgia (If You Have It)

TD’s is your classic college bar, through and through. As someone without any nostalgic ties to the place, I walked in as an outsider and it definitely feels like a spot that means more if you’ve made memories there. The different levels are a unique detail though.

That said, the food pleasantly surprised me. The wings had great flavor, though they were a bit dry and needed extra sauce. The wraps were also unexpectedly tasty, but were also begging for a little more dressing to really shine.

Weirdly enough, the floor was practically Velcro under my shoes. Wear boots or shoes with laces. There isn’t much parking either so lace up and start walking. My biggest issues was the much-hyped unlimited wing deal doesn’t kick in until later in the day: a detail missing from the menu. Our waitress wouldn’t budge, which was frustrating since it was the main reason I chose the place.

Bottom line: Probably not where you take visiting family, but if you’re rolling in with friends, it’s...

Stopped by TD’s Food and Drink in downtown Clemson during a road trip, and it’s the go-to spot before a game, buzzing with Clemson spirit right next to campus!

This lively student dive bar delivers high energy and a perfect pre-game vibe. The wings were a standout, packed with flavor and cooked just right. The sandwiches were delicious too, hearty and great for a casual lunch. My wife and I shared a pitcher of “The Tiger” (orange vodka, Sprite, and orange juice), a fun, citrusy drink that was a hit with our table and new friends we made among Clemson students and alumni - such a great community feel!

That said, the dive bar atmosphere - loud, crowded, and unpolished - might not suit everyone, though it’s part of the charm if you’re here for the game-day hype. Service was solid but a bit stretched during the busy lunch rush. If you’re looking for tasty bar food and the heart of Clemson’s pre-game excitement, TD’s is the place to...

Another staple bar and restaurant downtown Clemson. During school time, usually can expect lots of Karaoke nights and good atmosphere. Typical older crowd of students. Great wings with a lot of different delicious sauce selections. Their nuclear sauce isn’t as hot as you’d might expect; if you have a decent heat tolerance don’t expect nuclear to be truly “nuclear”, however it does taste delicious. Always have great deals over the summer and weekday nights. Definitely worth stopping by to grab a solid deal on wings and beer. Available for catering events as well with pool tables and a great bar area.
