Waffle House — Restaurant in South Carolina

I have been coming to this particular Waffle House for 8 years now. Mind you I live in Harbison and by pass the one on piney grove and ignore the one in Irmo to come all the down to this one. One reason their service use to be always good. However, I have to change that and they most definitely lost a customer me in. The young woman name Bre is very nasty and rude. I called because my food wasn’t made right which is the first time it happen. She proceeded to be rude and hang up the phone. I was in shock because the manger Geno stood their and allowed her to do so without any correction. I should have known because two days ago, I saw Bre very nasty to and elderly woman and Geno allowed that as well. Than had the nerve to come over to me talk about the old lady as if I suppose to join in on the conversation. I don’t plan on calling the corporate because I doubt if they do anything. And sense I got the owner information I plan on send a certified letter to him. Geno should not be a manger because he is as worst as the employees. For that young woman name Bre to continuously be nasty to customers blow my mind. However, I shouldn’t be shock because what make me think I am different from any other customer. She did it to them she will do it to me anyone else. I am also filing a complaint with dhec to come and check on the uncleanliness of the place with the cross contamination I see Geno do all the time. I have to instruct him with my food and watch very carefully, so that’s why I never ever dine in. If those problems was fixed than maybe. It’s very sad because I have so much respect for that location and for this to continue to happen, something must be said. So I recommend nobody to go to this particular location at all because they have no respect for customers, cross contamination, and the uncleanliness....

I went in, sat down & waited. It was not busy. So I waited. Finally after almost 20 min. I got up to leave & the waitress stated "I'm sorry, I didnt see you there". I sat back down & she asked for my order. I told her & as I finished a second waitress came on duty. The first never wrote down my order. She verbally told the second one. The second one came over & repeated the order, of course leaving out part which I corrected. My food arrived. The waitress asked if I needed any more coffee. I said "no thank you". She & the first waitress sat down & started looking at their phones. (See picture) I have NEVER been in a restaurant where the waitresses sit down especially when there is water on the floor, sticky syrup on tables & other things that they can clean, put up or straighten. Also both waitresses had sour dispositions, you could tell that neither one wanted to be there. As far as the food. The waffle was ok, just like a waffle but the bacon was delicious and...

I simply love Waffle House... I did not like the omelette that they made and they themselves realised it and mentioned that we would like to redo it ... wow... you don’t see that often!!! the best egg dishes & no doubt the best waffles in town for the best price... great food that you can even customise as per your liking... few outlets are 24/7 open 😀👍

The staff is really warm and joyful which makes you enjoy the waffle even more... they really suggest you and guide you what is trending and you could have with some combinations and really have fun.

I usually eat the chocolate chip cookie waffle with the hash browns... the hash browns are the best and really nice if you like the spicy one then go for the jalapeño hash browns they are really good... waffles are the best The staff seems like they are friends and I always see them having a great time and laughing which is really good to see...
