On June 26, 2024 I made a $40 deposit online for an appointment for the end of July. In the meantime, I needed an earlier appointment so I called Woof Gang and spoke with Brad, the owner. He was able to get my puppy in the beginning of July. I kept the the appointment the end of July because my puppy would need to go again by then. On July 20, 2024, I called the store and spoke with Jess. I told her I wanted to cancel my appointment for the following week. She said she would like the owner know and he would refund my money. She said he will call me back when he does so. On July 25, since I hadn't received a call back from the owner, Brad, I called him. He was frustrated that Jess told me that because "nobody can make a refund except me." I tried to tell him that Jess said he would do it after he called me. He didn't seem to care other than "Jess should never have told me that." The last thing I wanted to do is get Jess in any type of trouble! She was very sweet and easy to talk to. Anyway, Brad told me that he would refund my credit card that day. I thanked him and we hung up. Today, on August 6, I still hadn't received the refund on my credit card so I called Brad. I told him I still hadn't received the refund. He was very rude to me telling me in a very condescending tone "I don't need your $40." I asked him why he was talking to me that way. He said, "Because I feel like you don't believe me (about refunding the money)." I told him that is not the case at all. I just want to make sure it gets done correctly this time because apparently something happened previously since it never went through. He told to check my bank statement and then he hung up. Needless to say, I will not be giving this store any of my business again. The reason is because of the way I was treated, not because there was an error with the refund. I do want to add, that the groomer I used was sweet, friendly, professional, and did a great job on my wiggly puppy. Maybe one day she will branch out on her own. The owner and groomer personally took the time to talk to me about Boltâs coat, the grooming process, and what they planned to do. They explained everything step by step, from start to finish, which I truly appreciated. Their honesty and attention to detail stood out, and as a customer, that means so much.
Bolt came out so happy and, unlike past experiences with other groomers, didnât have any of the usual red-skin irritation afterward. That really speaks to the care and expertise of their groomer. A couple of months ago, we had a less-than-pleasant experience with another grooming service, which made us hesitant to try again. However, Woof Gang Woodruff completely won us over.
Not only does Bolt look amazing with his new haircut, but itâs clear that he was treated with love and care. His coat was long and matted from our hesitation to try another groomer, but Woof Gang Woodruff handled it beautifully. As pet parents, finding a place we trust with our fur baby is everythingâand you can feel the warmth and professionalism as soon as you walk in.
The owner and groomer were both incredibly polite and knowledgeable, and the customer service was outstanding. Weâve already put Bolt on a regular grooming schedule because weâre so impressed!

The owner is very unprofessional, unapologetic and seems to not care about animals.he also lied and said it was the same owners as the location downtown which is NOT true. Had I known I would have never taken my baby there. They basically buzz cut my dog and lied and said he was matted all over which is a huge lie since my dog gets groomed every single month. The cut was so poorly done he had multiple spots where they cut down too much and left my dog with red spots and uneven patches. They left his private area all bushy didnât even bother to trim it( they said we asked for that, which is also another LIE, we asked for it to be trimmed down just not all the way so itâd still have like a privacy curtain in his private area) nails werenât evenly cut and his face wasnât groomed either. My dog was also so distressed from the experience it took him days to feel better and act like his normal self. Which has never happened before. When we went back to tell all these things to the owner he seemed to not care at all or be concerned and said it was ânormal razor burn & that he doesnât know why my dog wouldâve been distressed. In the end he refunded us the full amount. Like I said he had no empathy or regard for the way they left my dog and basically just refunded us to get us out the store.
