Subs N More — Restaurant in South Haven

This place was a total hole in the wall, and not the good kind of surprise hole in the wall. To start, they were out of...well...everything, it felt like. No salads, no meatball subs, no pizza slices, no blts. We figured something out and ordered 2 sub meals, one 3.5in and one 7", both with the chips and drink, 20 bucks which is a fair price I suppose. While waiting we tried to use the bathroom, was ignored by every member of the staff, then when someone walked out, I apologized for knocking on the door, she said nothing, scowled and zoomed away and I asked another staff member if there's a key or something since now this girl left the door locked, the person I asked ignored me and another woman shouted that it's out of order. Doubtful since someone just left but whatever. Not one staff member in that place had a good attitude. Not one. Zero customer experience. Place looks filthy. Dust is EVERYWHERE. like a lot of it. On the ceiling, on the fans, everywhere. The tables hadn't been wiped down like maybe all day. When we finally got our food, there was no instruction on what to do since all the fountain drinks were out of order, so....we grabbed a can of soda and left. No thank you. No welcome in. After leaving tips in the jar when I paid I got a "thanks", but in the worst tone. How is this place still in business in such a beautiful town. If I could give this place -1 star I would! First we went and the girl taking our order was so sweet and kind, she said it was her third day, but when we sat down we got accused of not paying enough, which wouldn’t have been my fault but would have if it had been the case but when the manager who rudely accused us, checked and we payed the correct amount. Then we got our two sandwiches and not our fries when we paid for them. We went back up to tell the worker and and he said they’d be right up. Then he told us we never got charged for fries. We got charged $26 for two sandwiches, 2 pops, and an order of fries. We were confused so I we t to the nice cashier girl and she told me we did get charged for fries. She got her rude manager and insisted they called our fries three times when no one ever heard anyone call them out ..at this point we felt uncomfortable to eat their, the rude manager was only yelling at us and not hearing us. She accused of being in the wrong when it was the male worker who gave her a receipt that wasn’t ours. I tried to correct him and the female manager proceeded just to yell at me and give me my cash back! Thankfully she did this because I did not feel safe!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!! What a difference from the last time I was here...the place looks like its on its last legs. I'll be surprised if they are still in business a year from now. First, they only have six (6) tables for dine-in, 3 4-tops and 3 2-tops - just ridiculous. We had to wait for a table to sit down and eat. Second, they raised their prices, which I understand, but they significantly reduced the amount of meat they put in their sandwiches...by a lot. I paid $10 (plus tax) for a 'combo meal' of a sandwich, chips and a can of soda. The sandwich had a very minimal amount of meat on it. I ate at a different sandwich place a few weeks ago and got a similar sandwich with the meat piled high. Overcharging your customers is a recipe for disaster...we did not get a good value for the money we paid here. They are cutting corners in the wrong places and they may make it through the summer with tourists, but they will only come once. If they learned how to do some marketing and went back to how they used to make sandwiches, they would be...
