This Area Has A Large Beech Front! So dont feel worried to come because there's plenty of room for larger families or friends. They also have bathrooms along with food drinks and icecream all in one facility. They have kids play land and swings also. Parking is $10 for all 30 minutes to all day whatever your stay is it's $10.00 card only payment machine. If you want to play a gamr of Volleyball bring your own ball & net. I will be returning here next year with the family!

Spent a week at nearby B&B and several beach visits. The south beach has more space than the North but south there are a lot of private beaches and you don't know if you can at least walk along tge shoreline. The sand is fine grain, not sticky as it's freshwater, and very little plant remnants. Sweeped several times a week. Mostly families with young kids or retirees, no college takeover vibe. Very few restaurants near the beach so not a nightlife afe magnet.

Went two weeks ago for a spontaneous mini vacation, and this beach was absolutely magical by sunset. Weather was clear and crisp, around 70°F, too chilly for swimming, but that was okay by us! There was a riptide that day, too. Beach had flags clearly marking the water conditions. Wasn’t too crowded during the day, and by evening it was very secluded and peaceful. Can’t wait to come back again!

Love this beach. It has a small rest area right behind the concession stand, and if you want to change after sunset, it will be closed. However, this beach location is much less crowded than South Beach, and you still can see the lighthouse, of course. The waves are a bit higher, because you're not protected by the pier, and the beach is about twice as long. It is rarely crowded.

10/10 would recommend. Wayyy better than most beaches south of here. Better people if you know what I mean 😉. The beach is mostly flat so it’s an easier walk to the water than most places, there is even a small walkway to get you closer if you have a hard time walking in the sand. Perfect for seniors, people with small kids, or anyone with a disability.
