On most days you have to pay to park. The beach area is so small that it is quickly crowded. It's in a rich neighborhood and I felt like I was intruding. Again, the rich live high on the hog and the rest of us are given what's left. It was nice seeing lake Michigan in all it's glory. It was cool though, we saw a black squirrel, not a normal sight

Very small beach sandwiched between private beaches, pretty rocky also. No amenities but still can walk to North Beach for the restrooms and ice cream. Definitely would recommend North or South Beach but not terrible if there is no parking at either, which was the case for us today.

This beach access is in between some private beach access. Kind of sucks he got to pay to park but it is what it is. Also doesn't have public bathroom

This is a VERY small but clean beach because of the private beach property on either side. We stopped here just to get a quick look at the water. We weren't even there to stay more than 5 minutes. Despite that, don't think you can get away with parking and spending 5 minutes on the beach without paying the parking fee. I tried to but my wife insisted we wouldn't be there long enough and they probably don't even check. Five minutes later parking enforcement was eyeballing the car. I noticed and ran up in time to get in and they didn't ticket us. We then went down to North Beach and paid to park much longer and I'm glad we did, because they were ticketing plenty of vehicles. It's $10 to park, or the fine is $20. All the beaches are the same parking zone so paying once gets you several hours of parking at any one of...

We seem to use this beach access most of the time since it is near the Outpost Sports shop just up the road, where we hire kayaks and paddle-boards. It has a convenient parking lot for $10, the beach is small but with an easy access to walk elsewhere on the shoreline (mostly private beaches). I would certainly recommend the ice creams in Northside Memories, a couple of small tables outside to sit and watch the diversity of beachgoers before...
