TLDR: Health code violation is the last straw.
Okay so to preface this I’ll say the food is decent most of the time and the staff is friendly.
However here are the issues:
So yeah stay away if you’d like to avoid...
Read moreI love Cupbop. When we went to the Jazz game last week we had it, i had some yesterday, and again today. This location always has super friendly staff and they always help us right away. When we ordered food yesterday I was sad that their tofu was pretty hard so when I asked my wife if she wanted anything she asked me to first check the tofu since we ended up throwing it out yesterday. I ended up doing with just two noodle bowls because I didn’t want to chance my wife not liking the tofu. A lady then asked me if I was a fan of tofu and I said yes. She then looked over to the cashier and asked him to only charge me for one bowl since I wasn’t happy with the tofu yesterday. I was not expecting that at all and wasn’t even upset about the tofu from yesterday. She the started asking me if I was vegetarian and I let her know I was vegan. She introduced me to a professional chef from Samsung I believe she said (had a hard time hearing because I’m deaf) and let me know he was actually going to be helping them change the tofu recipe and told me that when I come in next time the tofu will be softer and better. When I was waiting to pay she looked at my bowls and said this isn’t enough and added a ton more noodles and sauces. She was super kind and engaged me in conversation which was nice. She even joked by saying “so see you tomorrow.” I definitely recommend this location because the staff is always so kind and patient with us asking them questions. The girl that helped me yesterday was also really sweet. She explained how the sauces worked which was so helpful because I never understood why when I said a 9 for sauce they wanted to put mayo in my food. Luckily she was kind enough to explain how it all worked and even showed me the paper taped to the side of the glass for the employees. Anyway they’re great and deserve your business...
Read moreBe prepared to WAIT. I have been here three times, tonight being my third. Each each time I have ordered a k dog And have been told it would be a 4 to 5 minute wait. I have waited 15 to 20 minutes every single time. Tonight I thought I was so lucky because when I walked in, I was the only person there and I thought awesome after a 10 hour day long at work a quick treat will be perfect but no… it was a little bit extra frustrating because I ordered before a group of 10 people, and they all received their food before I did. I asked what the process was to make the orders because I just found it very confusing for everyone else to receive service before me Even though I ordered before everyone The only difference was I did not get a bowl. The person working was super amazing. Very kind and offered to give me a free item for the wait, however, since I’m walking my dog, I got a k dog because I can eat it and walk so I did not take up her offer for the free food But I did appreciate her kindness and her apologies for the wait however no one explained what the process is when it comes to making orders… Why would 10+ other people get their food before someone that made an order first? And if I’m being 100% honest, my irritation level would be at zero if I was not told it would be a five minute wait Only to actually wait 20. just please do not say that next time because it has never actually been the truth and that’s what irritates me more. Just say that be right out do not tell me a time because it clearly is not being...
