Read moreAWFUL! The food had no salt, no seasoning, no flavor! I ordered fettuccine Alfredo, it tasted like flour and water sauce. The noodles were not cooked, parts were hard and ends were mush. I didn't eat it. I try to fix it with salt and parmesan which I had to ask for because they didn't have any salt on the table. When they brought the salt and the parmesan the salt jar barely had any salt and the parmesan jar had barely any parmesan. Plus the containers were pretty dirty. My husband ordered a Ruben sandwich that came with nasty mushy potatoes. The potatoes were sliced as thin as a slice pickle and then dipped in a panko. There was no salt, no flavor and it was mushy and very greasy. It was worse than hospital food. Take that back hospital food tastes better than any dish on the menu. We couldn't believe how bad the food tasted. This is the first time in my entire life that I rejected a plate of food in a restaurant. Not to mention the bar waiter was very impatient when we ordered our meal. My husband was asking the question about the side dishes, which side he "waiter" thought was best. The bar waiter just kept on repeating the three sides dishes that were on the menu. He was very rude. We paid $25.00 for tea and husband sandwich, he ended up taking sandwich to go leaving the nasty tasteless fries behind. My husband said the sandwich was meh! This place smelled of dear urine. It was and old dark grungy bar. It had broken glass mirrors and torn seats. I sat on a very wobbly chair. This...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!!!!!! Me and my wife went there during our vacation. We both had a craving for a good BBQ beef brisket sandwich. We read a few reviews that seemed like the place was worth trying. We both ordered there BBQ Beef Sandwich. The beef was tough, the meat was hot on the outside and cold on the inside. The roll was stale and the BBQ sauce tasted like something you would get from a dollar store. The "famous fries" fried in tempura batter were FOUL! It tasted like they took there old overused deep-fryer oil. Ran it through a hard used diesel engines oil filter, and then preceded to cook our fries in it. Half way through attempting to eat our meal we had to stop. It was too horrid and we were literally starting to feel ill. We paid the bill and left without taking the horrid leftovers with us. We were both quite ill the rest of the day. So much so we had to go back to our timeshare and lay down. We both vomited several times that night. My wife was lucky enough to be feeling somewhat normal late the next day. But I continued to feel ill for a full week. Just driving past there now makes my stomach turn! This place ruined my vacation!!! I implore you to SKIP this place! I am sorry to say I can't offer a different BBQ joint in town to go to. This was the first BBQ place I went to in Lake Tahoe. So just the thought of BBQ when I am there now makes my stomach upset! DO NOT go to this...
