Food was alright at most. We drove in from Sacramento and didn't quite know where we wanted to stop for lunch. My dad joked with me and said "Look it's a Tastee Freeze." I told him "We can get soft serve here and a burger." Lets go there.

Perhaps the first red flag was the uniforms that the kids who were working were wearing. One older kid had on a crop top and a nose piercing. She might not have been a kid, but perhaps a young adult. The place was run by teenagers. It wasn't until the end that an adult came out to get us our soft serve because my dad and I had said "Lets order the food first and then come back for soft serve."

Starting with the food, I got the Barbecue Chicken Sandwich. It was alright. My dad got a burger. I don't know which one and he agreed it was alright. We ordered the large fries and it was small at best and for $2 more, a rip off. It took nearly 40 minutes for our food to arrive and we only ordered 3 things. Oh and the fries tasted like the oil was old.

The service is pretty much nonexistent. People walk out to the window shouting #1, #12, etc in no order. It was hard to hear when our order was called.

When we finished our meal, we walked back inside and waited in line. Luckily I had used the bathroom before, which had no paper towels when my dad went and no soap. When I walked into the bathroom, there was just a massive roll of paper towels not in the dispenser and a bottle of almost empty Dawn Dish Soap. My dad asked the lady at the counter "Could you bring some paper towels into the bathroom and some soap." To which she responded with "There is soap in the bathroom, you just have to push on the dispenser real hard." The dispenser was clearly empty.

I ended up having to go to a different restaurant to use the bathroom because I guess after a certain timeframe they received so many complaints that they stuck a piece of tape on the door that said "Bathroom is closed."

Soft serve though was good, but not great. If you are looking for a place to eat, just make the ten minute drive over towards Stateline or down the road to Sprouts/ the bar and...

We are local to the area. We come around this way a few times here and there. We like to get lunch and after walk down to Snow Flake for a cone. We had our 5 year old daughter in tow with us and she was super excited to get some ice cream. We ordered our cone, gave a TIP and received the cone. Walked 3 steps out the door and the ice cream slid right off the cone onto the deck. I immediately turned around and advised the clerk. She went in back, presumably to make a new cone. She came back out with another clerk in tow. No one was wearing a name tag so I have no idea who these people are. The other female said, "So did you want to purchase another cone? I mean once you walk away with it" to which I said, half laughing.."Ice cream cones should stay intact over 3 steps from the counter and if that's the way you are choosing to handle this then plenty good" I asked for something to clean the ice cream up with and was told not to worry about it. We left and we will never be back. Years of patronage and you guys lost 3 customers because of $6.78 and horrific customer service. We went down the road to Aloha ice cream. Great customer service there. And when we told them what happened, they weren't surprised. Hope management sees this and trains their staff to handle situations like this more...

Me and my pregnant girlfriend arrived to sno flake and wanted to order a meal but we were having some payment issues so we had them void the order while we waited for some money to go through and there were two girls running the front of the shop that were talking about how we were to poor to afford the food they had there and while that was going on I was on the phone with my mom who was going through a hard time and crying to me on the phone while they are standing there staring at us , after I finished my conversation with my mom I went to purchase over 60$ worth of food only to be treated with attitude and mean glares after we received our food I was eating my ice cream outside enjoying myself getting over the fact people can be mean or have bad days my ice cream was melting and my girlfriend went inside to ask for a plastic cup to put the ice cream into and the manager responded with "use the paper cups if you want a cup for your ice cream your going to have to purchase another one I don't just give them away" this is not how you treat your customers especially a tahoe local not cool to see a business treating it's own people with such an elitist standard for a burger joint much less not even a franchise the ego on the people...

I set out to honestly just eat something amazing , I didnt care about the price . I googled around while in the hotel . nothing really stood out . kind of wanted a nice steak but saw mixed reviews of even the best places and somehow the thought of a shake as I drove by this place made me stop . I decided to go with the tahoe burger because I assumed its what the special would be . asked to throw in a large strawberry shake . after biting into the burger that basically melted in my mouth with perfection . I immediately tasted the shake . I sat there for a minute .... Never have I felt sooo disrespected by McDon-tknowifimallowedtosayit . this place is way more bang for your buck I'm just sad theres nothing like this in quality or taste near me . I'll never drive by tahoe and not stop here . I regret not buying a burger to go. Leaving this review makes me hungry all over again

Staff was nice, food was good with great portions. My strawberry shake was excellent. I wouldn't recommend the pineapple shake, it was too sweet. Our drinks came out in 10 minutes which was fantastic, but out food took about 35 minutes to come to us and we had to check in on it. There was not an overwhelming number of customers there so I'm not sure why it took so long. The order area was very hot. I'm guessing the building does not have AC, and I can't imagine being the one cooking in that heat. Overall, the ingredient quality was wonderful, and the ice cream service is fast, but it's definitely not the place to stop if you need a quick bite.

3 stars is a bit generous tbh. There was lots of hype about the Burger but to be honest it was kind of plain and it was more bun than patty. the most popular thing seemed to be the ice cream and the milkshakes anyway which unfortunately we did not partake in so I'm giving it a 3. Customer service left something to be desired. The girls were kind of grumpy. Not to mention it took at least 30 minutes to get our order and it really wasn't all that busy.
