I recently had the pleasure of dining at Craft South Miami, and I have to say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by the hostess, and the service only continued to impress throughout the meal. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and had a wonderful way of making recommendations without being pushy. It felt like they truly cared about our experience.
The menu itself was a delightful mix of inventive dishes and comforting classics. Whether you’re in the mood for fresh pizza, a hearty meatball, or creative plant-based options, there's something for everyone. The chef’s special of the day was a perfect blend of flavors, and each dish was presented beautifully, making it as much a feast for the eyes as it was for the palate.
The beverage selection was equally impressive, offering a carefully curated wine list and an assortment of craft cocktails. My glass of wine was perfectly paired with my meal, and the bartender’s recommendations were spot on.
There was only one small issue that I noticed—the water container at our table had a bit of mold on the rubber ring. While it wasn’t a deal-breaker, it was a slight oversight in an otherwise well-maintained restaurant. I mentioned it to the staff, and they were quick to apologize and replace it, which reflected their commitment to customer satisfaction.
Overall, the combination of fantastic food, attentive service, and a great atmosphere made for an unforgettable dining experience. I’ll definitely be back and would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a...
Read moreHave you have seen a dog licking an in door table at a restaurant? Well I hadn’t either until my family and I went to craft this past weekend for breakfast. We had gone to craft several times and it was quickly becoming our weekly go to restaurant. The wait staff is usually really friendly and the food is ok. Nothing out of this world but at least it was consistent.
We walked into the restaurant and sat in our usual table by the window - four top. The only other table next to us was a two top because the space is small. The waiter was someone we’ve never seen at the restaurant. We asked him if there was a breakfast kids menu and his response was “we have chicken tenders and hamburgers”. Ok, but that’s not breakfast.
During our order a family a 4 came in and guess where the waiter sat them. You guessed in, in the table is 2 next two us. So the waiter crammed another table in. THEN one of the people comes in with a dog who he allows to put his paws on the table and lick it!! My husband immediately went what seemed to be the shift manager to address our concerns. She told him she couldn’t speak to him at the moment because she was busy.
We ended up walking out and the shift manager ran after us. We expressed our concerns and her response was “we’re dog friendly.” There’s a fine line between allowing pets and being dog friendly and allowing dogs to lick tables where people put their food. Please don’t get me wrong I absolutely love dogs but I don’t want a dog where food is being prepared (open kitchen) or licking where I’m...
Read moreI was looking for a nice place to eat when I saw Craft. When we arrived we were told to sit anywhere. Our server was Mauricio who handed us menu’s without greeting us. We were then given a water pitcher and 2 cups which we had to put pour for ourselves. Later we were asked to order to which my girlfriend and I asked for the burrata as an appetizer, a 6 hour beef stew for myself and the Milanesa Napolitana for my girlfriend. We were served our appetizer which was fine however were never asked how it was. Afterwards we were served our entree’s which immediately looked as if it were microwaved. My beef was dry, my carrots were mushed due to either being cooked too long or what I suspect was because they were microwaved. The mashed potatoes were entirely unseasoned and stiff. For my girlfriend’s dish, she only was able to take two bites as her beef which was fried had a soggy exterior and very dry interior. The fries however were tasty. During our meal we also asked for more water which never came. Additionally we were also not checked on during the entire meal. When the meal was over and the check was brought I was given the device to put in tip while my waiter stared over my shoulder and let out a sigh as I chose to put less than 20%. After I put in my tip I was prompted to rate my service to which Mauricio snatched the device and left without saying goodbye. I’m not usually one to write reviews but what a truly...
