Was hoping to find something sensational, because the way the place looks and large menu selections that is offered. I ordered 1lb Churrasco, because that's what is says, Churrasqueria, and 1lb mixed plater, and rice & beans, and bam it was $40 bucks. I said, let see if I get my $40 bucks. After ordering my food I went to buy a tea at a closeby Starbucks, but when I returned my family was already eating. So I joined in and served myself a plate and I noticed there was no churrasco....!!! The platter they show with different meats had only pork and chicken and some pieces of sausage. I quickly turned to open the 1 lb of churrasco... and I found something that looked like pot roast or roast beef, but no churrasco. I began to eat and I knew right away that was some boliche beef, no churrasco. So I set out to ask the guy what they had served me and if they by chance made a mistake, but instead the owner bluntly remark that's what we gave you peroid. I was surprised he was aporehensive, so i repeated myself, this looks nothing like churrasco, this looks like you served me sonething else, but instead it's got more offended, and claimed I should take his word. I wasn't even upset, but somehow these people jipped me. My heart was really set for churrasco, and I couldn't even finish eating what we bought it was just something mediocre. What a scammed, latter I learned that they did the same thing to other people. I wonder why people can be honest, especially when it looks like they might have...
Read moreHorrible service and bad customer service. This food truck across from Dadeland Station has the worst customer service. The manager only gives you 2 extremely small chimichurri sauces. I bought 1 pound of churrasco beef with 2 sides for $21 (plus the tip I gave them when I first paid) and the lady would not give me extra sauces for all that meat! I kindly explained to her that the 2 minute cuban coffee cups was too little to hold the sauce for so much meat and she said it is company policy to only give 2 sauces per order. If I wanted more I had to pay $.50 for each additional cup. If was extremely disappointing, to say the least. At that moment I wanted to take back my tip, however I ended up paying $.50 for all the additional sauces I bought. For her to be the manager she has no customer service skills what's so ever. When I go to the actual restaurant I get at least 4 small cups of sauces. Nevertheless, this food truck's serves no purpose in satisfying the customer. I will not be going back there anytime...
Read moreSo we came to the food truck by sunset and ordered their rib-eye. They had a HUGE sign that said 16.99 out front but my husband paid 19.25 with tax. It was pouring rain and in his defense he did the math wrong because 16.99 plus tax is 18.17. Upon realizing that they were off by a dollar we called them from the car to ask them (again pouring rain) they simply said âthe sign is wrongâ. They offered no apology and no refund. I told them that they were risking the customerâs positive experience for a dollar. Well all she said was âok mamâ and hung up on me. Once we picked up the steak, the man mentioned nothing, not even an âiâm Sorry about thatâ. So thatâs when I really got pissed and we demanded the dollar back which they had to take from their tip jar. A word of advice if youâre reading this? You never know which negative review or bad experience will be the end of your food truck. Treat customers FAIRLY (sign is your fault not mine)...
