I can never seem to be able to get a sandwich every time I come here. Or the combo with fries. The sandwich "medianoche" the meat was cold. It was pre-made, she did NOT USE GLOVES TO HANDLE FOOD. It was just placed in the microwave straight on the glass, no paper plates, napkin nothing. Still decided to take the sandwich but remaining factor it was still cold. I went inside so she can nuke it some more and change out the bread since microwaving the bread would only make it harder. She gave me a really hard time about it to the point that just made me say forget it I rather just get refunded and go, she refused. We spent almost 15 minutes in a argument over my refund. And to top it all off since she didn't even give me back exactly what I paid for we still left her the money we tipped her. Never in my life have I nor the party I was with been treated so horribly in any establishment. And it was four of us two non-Spanish speaking people and two Latin American people so it's not like they didn't know what we was saying. I live in the neighborhood and I've heard many bad things never experienced it this bad before. It was the worst experience ever. I doubt I would be coming back here anytime soon. I really think the concept is cool if it was being runned better, a 24 hr bakery with sandwiches and fries and pastries. How eles better to satisfy you're late-night cravings? But being runned like this will ruin a business......
After reading some of the reviews, yes it's true if you are not a fluent Spanish speaking person they will not serve you as "well". My friend was treated horribly and she's actually...
Read moreWent got a breakfast . Ordered a full breakfast for $8.99 . The full breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs with bits of ham, potatoes , Cuban toast & cafe con leche which is the Cuban version of coffee ( mix of warm milk with expresso) as described. They served breakfast only to disappoint. The breakfast was small amount of scrambled eggs with curly fries that seem to have come out of a frozen bag . The Cuban toast hardly had butter and cut to half the size of a normal Cuban toast . The cafe. Con leche was made a few minutes after the plate of scrambled with curlies was given . Meaning the breakfast was cold by the time coffee /milk cafe con leche was given . The couple of meat pastries added were $6 .
With Hispanic decent this is not what you can really call Cuban or Hispanic.
The service people don’t speak English . When you sit down to eat you realize there’s a freezer full of beers and a lg rack full of wines .
Sadly this is what they choose to portray as a Cuban Bakery . Folks this not a typical authentic Cuban Bakery. This is a shameful imitation.
Breakfast was close to $30 and it was definitely nothing to write home about . This is commercial chain imitation of what a Hispanic Cuban Bakery .
I should have paid attention to the fact a bakery should not be in the business of selling beer & wine Obviously a current Cuba mentality of serving beer w/ breakfast
Dennys would have been a better choice as at this place the Hispanic Cuban experience is sold expensive & not the real deal
Americans walk away with the wrong impression of what a Real Cuban Bakery is...
Read moreGreat Service at 67th Ave & Dixie, But Disappointed with 57th Ave Location
I want to start by highlighting the excellent customer service at the Pinecrest Bakery on 67th Avenue and Dixie Highway. The staff there was professional, friendly, and efficient—exactly what good customer service should be. It was a complete contrast to my experience at the 57th Avenue location.
I arrived at the 57th Avenue bakery at 6:20 AM, expecting them to be open as their posted hours state 6:00 AM. Instead, I walked into a chaotic scene with a strong smell of bleach from cleaning. One employee told me to come in, but another ignored me for three minutes before finally asking her coworker, "Did you tell her to come in?" When the coworker confirmed she had, the second employee abruptly said, "No, we are closed."
When I told my husband about the experience after bringing him his café con leche at the hospital, he wasn’t surprised. He told me, “I don’t know why you would even go there. I’ve been there twice past 6:00 AM, closer to 6:30 AM, and they’re never ready.”
To make matters worse, the Pinecrest Bakery – Sunset location chose to delete my review and block my account rather than respond to my concerns. Instead of addressing customer feedback, they silence it. That does not fix the in-house issues they clearly have.
A note to the manager: Please consider updating your posted hours so customers are not misled. More importantly, train your employees in proper customer service. Ignoring and deleting feedback is not the way to...
