Incredible evening. Thank you to everyone at Recoveco for making my special evening perfect. We had an issue with our driver, and heavy rain, ended up arriving 45 min late for our reservation. Unlike most restaurants, the host and manager were overly friendly and understanding. While a packed restaurant (is not very big-nice small romantic vibes yet modern and fun) they were quick to assist and refigure the upcoming reservations so we could have a table and enjoy our evening. Our waitress was amazing. Besides looking like Julia Stiles, she was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the menu as well as ingredients. She walked through the small but plentiful menu-explaining each dish so we could make the perfect selections. While everything sounded so amazing, I ended up ordering all but 2 items off the menu. The servings were as beautiful as delicious and potion size was perfect. The portions are perfect for sharing-which gives patrons the ability to order more items. Don’t fool yourself-the portions are not small! Did I mention how amazing the server was??!! I have to mention this again! She is perfect for representing the restaurant and for working in this industry. She is what all service workers need to achieve to be-she has perfected her craft and made the evening pleasurable. Coming in late and in a bad mood because of the driver issues, she was very calming and personable-changed my mood immediately which made the evening vibe change. Back to food-the ingredients are sourced locally-the Fig leaf and Starfruit dessert; the fig comes from the chefs personal fig tree. You can’t get any more “farm/chef to table” than this. Every dish was special in its own way. The grouper was a beautiful thick piece-cooked to perfection. My favorite dish of the evening was a tie between the key west shrimp and the beef tongue. When discussing wine, the lady who came to go over the selections was extremely knowledgeable. I told her what I like and she picked the perfect wine for me. The restaurant owners have carefully hand-selected the perfect staff to represent their brand and food. At the end, when the check came, I was shocked. Sticker shock-but in a good way. I couldn’t believe all the food and wine we had for the price. I expected the bill to be much higher-overall the evening was perfect. We left full and...
Read moreDining at Recoveco was an unforgettable experience, one that my husband and I will be raving about for a long time. From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed by a warm, intimate atmosphere that set the tone for a truly exceptional meal.
We began with the Chicken Liver Mousse and Grassfed Beef Tongue—both executed to absolute perfection. The mousse was silky and rich, melting effortlessly on the palate, while the beef tongue was impossibly tender, a true testament to expert preparation.
For our main courses, we indulged in the Pennsylvania Golden Chicken, Wagyu Ribeye, and Fresh Fried Flounder. Each dish was a masterpiece in its own right—the chicken was succulent with golden skin, the ribeye was bursting with flavor, and the flounder was crispy yet delicate, flaking beautifully with every bite. Every dish spoke to the chefs’ artistry, balancing technique and flavor in a way that felt both refined and comforting.
And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, dessert arrived—a horseradish sherbet topped with a carrot ice treat. The contrast of flavors was nothing short of exquisite, an unexpected yet harmonious blend that left a lasting impression.
Beyond the extraordinary food, our experience was elevated by our waiter, who was knowledgeable, assertive, and incredibly kind. His deep understanding of the menu and pairing suggestions made our meal even more enjoyable. He navigated our questions with confidence, ensuring that we experienced the very best, all while maintaining a warm and welcoming presence.
Recoveco is on a trajectory for greatness, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a Michelin star in their future. The fusion of flavors, attention to detail, and sheer culinary craftsmanship make this a must-visit for any food lover. We can’t...
Read moreWalked in without reservations at opening time 5:30pm and the hostess graciously accommodated us with the promise to be out by 7pm. No problem, thanks! Our server Fifi was simply a delight to talk to. Made her suggestions, applauded our choices and showed excitement for the food while explaining what we should expect. Elena (owner) so sweet and talented, brought us a couple of dishes herself while humbly explaining and enticing us with her creations. She and her husband are obviously talented. We hope they will receive awards for their “recoveco” endeavor. All details were noted, beautiful & simple yet refined felt coasters, French silverware that rest on a stone ledge, lovely cloth napkin, complimentary house sparkling water, dainty thin stem wine glasses, plants well situated, artwork that is not yelling for attention, and a tiny menu that is fine by me! Yes, less is more. We tried the tongue, the fish, the string beans and did not have anything else because we were set on having both desserts which is something we hardly ever do but we knew we had to. So glad. The experience was a complete delight. Understated and unpretentious dishes with so much personality in their simplicity. You just have to trust that this small place has big offerings. What we appreciated is that there’s nothing here that you’ve had anywhere. How refreshing! Thank you, I will be back to try the chicken which is obviously the highlight of the menu. Thank you team Recoveco & Infatuation Miami for recommending,...
