Criddle's Cafe — Restaurant in South Ogden

I'm on a special diet and really hate going out but feel grateful when a restaurant goes out of their way to help me feel comfortable . This place was not the place to go if you want to do anything different than what's written on the menu.

They were unable to substitue toast/potatos for anything without charge, even sliced tomatoes or cottage cheese (which is a very common sub for breakfast restaurants). Not VLC or Keto friendly. Server blamed it specifically on the cooks. So I guess its the cooks who have attitude and not the owner? , that was weird.

This didn't apply to our situation: Another strict rule was printed in the menu that if you shared breakfast (like the omelet) with another person you would be charged an additional $9.95.

My omelet was great, I got the everything and it did have everything. I also ordered hot herbal tea. Those two things together were $19.25 before tip. Definitely not worth dropping an Andrew Jackson if they have zero flexibility in customer service.

My friend got 3 sides (all the stuff I can't eat) : honey scone, French toast and biscuits and gravy. They looked delicious to me but my friend said they were around a 5/6 on a scale of 1-10. Hers also was over $19 & she didn't order a drink.

My food was okay, but it's definitely not worth the cost or trouble to go there again. They are all about the bottom line and aren't about helping the customer have an enjoyable experience.

I forgot to mention that we ordered and less than, but seriously, less than 4 minutes and the server is already bringing us food. I think all that we ordered was on the table within about 7 minutes or less. If you have no dietary or financial restrictions , I say go just to see the speed in which these folks grind out the food. Back at Criddles, finally!

This place is currently occupied by 3 guests and several servers.

I believe it is due to the snow, however, I'm pretty sure the snow won't keep people away from this GREAT PLACE!!

Today I ordered the Veggie Omelette with hash browns and a coffee.

Served HOT🔥 and I had my order at my table within 12 minutes. NO KIDDING!!

The employees here are Great, Respectful and very Kind.

FINALLY.....was able to stop into Criddles Cafe again!

Such a great place to enjoy a tasty hot meal. My order arrived in a matter of minutes and served hot with great ambiance.

Chicken fried steak and Sunnyside up on the eggs, hash browns and wheat toast with a hot cup of coffee.

As always the service is Courteous, considerate, and professional. Servers paid great attention to this Deafman.

I'm really bummed that I have to leave this review mostly because I have always loved coming here but I feel something has to be said about the service today. Today my job ordered food and they were extremely busy which I get it there was a wait but they seemed extremely annoyed anyone was even walking in they forgot to pack one of our orders and missed another it happens right so we had to go back and ask for it, when we arrived to get the order the lady rolled her eyes and said oh yeah it's right here, no apologies nothing, just gave us the cold food that had been sitting out because They forgot to pack it, then we explained how something on the order was missed..again with attitude explained we never ordered it and she didn't charge for it the first time. We explained it was fine but we still wanted it and we could pay for it. Food is good but the customer service really lacks! You mess something up or forget it you make it up it's that simple mistakes happen and that wasn't even the problem not get annoyed that the person is back for their food they paid for. Super...
